Jendir isn't used to feeling fear for the fact when he was young he was the one who had to act grown up for his sister. When he feels it though he becomes like a deer in headlights, he freezes and doesn’t know what to do for a second to a minute. He goes white in the face and his hands start to shake as he does not know what he should be doing with them. How would your character respond to experiencing Stress? Jendir doesn’t handle stress well he would much rather be plaster off his ass and passed out in a ditch with a bottle of rum in his hands than deal with stress. Stress makes Jendir short fuse, he can’t work under it he just clamps up and is unable to do anything other than try to find the nearest bar that doesn’t cut people off. How would your character express feeling Happy? When happy he starts to smile more than his normal constant scowling look and if the people around him have the gods on their side he may even laugh or even buy a round of the drinks while throwing some light punches to people he considers friends How does your character view Law and Authorities? Jendir doesn’t really care for the law in Regalia much as most of his life he has spent trying to avoid other countries laws or bending them to his needs while he was moving around the world. Authorities don’t get much of a different treatment they are generally avoided and their ideas passed off. The only authority Jendir cares for is of other Avanthar especially if they are Prota’ll or Elder. ┏━━━━━━━━ ✠ ━━━━━━━━┓ ┗━━━━━━━━ ✠ ━━━━━━━━┛ How does your character feel about Races other than their own? Jendir doesn’t care about what race people are he is always friendly to except Altalar which he can’t stand. Jendir though is friendly to other Avanthar which he feels much closer to because of race. As long as other races don’t act better than him he doesn’t see any issues until he speaks to them. How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? Jendir is nearly non-religious in some senses. He grew up within the sect of the Faith of Estel, and was a follower for awhile. However, through multiple ugly events in his life, his faith began to wonder and more questions arose in his head. Eventually, he fell from the faith with the belief that, although he feels a god does exist in the world, he thinks that Estel is not as powerful and loving as many believe her to be. He sees other religions as blind fools but will not say his opinions out loud and tries to avoid the topic. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? Jendir has had little to no experience with magic and is both terrified and intrigued by it. He believes that it would be amazing for him to have and use against others but would hate to be on the receiving end of the magic. With each new encounter with magic, he weighs up what he should do about it. How does your character feel towards their family? Jendir has lost his tribe with most people being killed or taken by the backstabbing Knife ears called Altalar. If he had any family left he would fight tooth and nail to keep them safe this mindset is also the exact same for any friends he has. Jendir is not known for having many friends but all the friends he has are more like family to him. What is your character's biggest insecurity? Jendir is insecure about his past and hates the mentioning of it and trust near none with the information of where he is from and what his childhood is like. The most he will tell anyone is that he is from the Hordelands and nothing more and he believes they have no need to know even if he is drunk out of his mind he won’t give a single bit of information out. What is your character the most proud of about themselves? Jendir is proud of his ability to be able to get into contact with the right people in the underworld to get what he needs to be done. This has made his life traveling easy to get anywhere and to always find work. He also finds great pride in his combat skills and believes he can fight most people in hand to hand combat. What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? Jendir only looks to travel the world picking up the pieces of his ancestor's life trying to reconnect his family back together and while also trying to set up a gang in a city for him to control and run so he doesn’t need to work another day in his life. What is your character's biggest fear? Jendir is afraid of being alone, being the last of his tribe and having no one to share his past with. He is afraid of not having any close friends to share his days, drinks and laughs with. He is afraid that his whole life is never going to find someone that he can love and have a family with so that his tribe doesn’t end with just him. ┏━━━━━━━━ ✠ ━━━━━━━━┓ ┗━━━━━━━━ ✠ ━━━━━━━━┛ Jendir was born in a small tribe within Daendroque. His childhood was relatively normal, up until he witnessed his Pröta’ll fighting with two small axes. Ever since then he had been fascinated with the style, and focused his time with trying to master the rare form of fighting shown by the race. His tribe was one of the groups of Avanthar who took upon the Elves of Thellassia’s offer, moving to take control of the Hordelands. He trained with his tribe, eventually mastering the fighting style and being named a Pröta’ll himself. Shortly after, however, his tribe was enslaved when the Altalar went back on their word. This included Jendir. A few years of the Avanthar’s life was spent in slavery with the others who had gone for the offer and been enslaved. Jendir was resilient, resisting the Altalar’s attempts to break him. Though, eventually, his captors got through to him after months of constant pain and managed to break him into submission. He remained here up until the Elven War when he saw his chance to escape. Like most of the race, the man never had a close bond with his family. He chose to flee to Regalia and escape further slavery rather than try to rescue any of his tribe, only bringing his sister along with him to aid in their escape. The two waited until nightfall, arming themselves both with two axes, which is when they made their way out of the kingdom. Any person who tried to confront them likely ended up either dead or incapacitated. They stowed away on a ship destined for Regalia, and although they didn't know the route at the time, the two simply wanted to get away from the people who had enslaved them. Upon reaching Regalia he kicked Jinuep off the ship to live for herself telling her that he was going back to try to find more of their kind. This eventually ended with Jendir traveling around from city to city trying to find anyone from his tribe who could still be alive. He got always got close to finding someone but when he arrived he would always find them dead. Slowly this destroyed his hopes of finding anyone else from his tribe. This meant he became more invested in alcohol and other ways of numbing his pain of being alone. Soon alcohol wasn’t enough and needed to become part of something more and to not be alone anymore. He became close to people in the underworld, so close that they bestowed upon him the gift of vampirism. He quickly left trying to find his tribe that he didn’t know about to return to Regalia to find his sister and protect what little family he had. ┏━━━━━━━━ ✠ ━━━━━━━━┓ ┗━━━━━━━━ ✠ ━━━━━━━━┛
