Janna was born and raised on the western lands of what had been once the Allorn Empire in the late days of 290 AC - Daughter of local farmers, she grew in a hostile environment, where her Dragonkin traits, inhereted from her father, were reviled if exposed. Despite this, her parents, and the local members of the reserved community, who still held some Draconist sympaties, often ensured that she could have as good as a childhood as possible. She loved to help file information and write reports.
So when Talea came forth, and restablished the Allorn Empire, many of the townsfolk fled, as the situation became increasingly dangerous, however, Janna's parents and their closer friends chose to stand their ground, even as the Estellian radicals grew, and the Allorn presence increased. Then, it happened- A local noble came into town, having heard the rumors of an Aerunthar present. As he went to grab her, her parent intervened, breaking his nose, and making them flee. Together with her mother and her sibilings, they attempted to flee in the middle of the night, but the noble's men and hounds gave pursuit, causing them to lose each other in the panic. Janna fled and fled and fled, until she grew exhausted. Thankfully, she'd been taught some magic by her father, creating enough gold here and there to ensure she could survive. Her status as a Sage might have been helpful as well, as her detached nature aided her in being practical before emotional, always thinking before feeling. She sought to find meaning in her tragedy. Why was it that Aerunthar were rare? Who was their cause of existing?
So she sought to learn, and uncover all she could. She converted to Draconism, to feel closer to her goals, yet it was of little help. While she accepts the existance of the Dragons, and their role as Immortal Stewards, she only dedicates her Worship to Leyon and Aseia, while also giving large attention to Juliannus and Nox. Meanwhile, her goal has taken all around the world from the Repository of Esl-Sanlaan, to the ruins of Solangaria, to the depths of Ellador. She wishes to unlock all doors, and one day, reach for absolute truth for the masses.
