The 3000 mile march of the Lothar Order no doubt spread anywhere between mild concern to shocking terror among the Mage populations of the Regalian Empire, because whatever the Lothar Order was planning, it became known that it was very specifically aimed against Mages. The Mages of the Provinces lamented the lack of a unified effort, where-as many minorities across the Empire had unifying guilds and organizations, Mages were often left on the periphery or supporting caste. Debate broke in many of the provinces about how Mages should organize, if they should be organized at all, as well as among the common people on how to best react to Mages. Before long, many of the ideological and regionally dominated ideals started fracturing the debate between provincial lines, and major schools of thought rose up.

    Legend:
    • The Galic League (Burgundy) represented the ideology of Status Quo. Both the Mages and the people of these provinces prefer continuing the current standard of Mage Rights and Repressions, and are generally uninvolved in the ongoing flashpoint of the Lothar Order.
    • The Salic League (Pink) represented the ideology of economic benefits. While the people in these regions align more with status quo, the Mages have started unionizing in so called "Salic Unions", which all loosely united into the Salic League. These Salic Unions are primarily concerned with the economic disparity between Mages and non Mages, with most Mages living in slums, strategizing on how to best use Magic to jumpstart the Economy and Industry to make heaps of cash and uplift Mages economically.
    • The Manon Circle (Blue) represents the pro-representation group. Both the Mages and the local populations demand more wider representation in government, the ruling classes, nobility, etc. The Manon Circle looks large, but it is deceptively fractured: within the Manon Circle there exist many smaller radical groups who believe that the age of non-Magi is over, and that Mages are clearly the superior class who have a higher right to rule than what they perceive as the incompetent mundane nobility.
    • The Ostwald Circle (Green) represents the ideology of both the population and the Mages that the individual liberties of the Mages have led to this situation, and that the Mages are unrealistic demanding full freedom for the strain that they apply to the world around them. The Ostwald Circle wants the Mages across the Empire to be forced into local Guilds, that regulate their training, casting, and deployment for the benefit of the Empire, and to label all Mages who refuse to join these Guilds to be labeled Renegade Mages and hunted down.
    • The God Circle (Brown) The God Circle is both pragmatic and apathetic in the sense that both the mages and the population seem indifferent to the Lothar situation, and suspect that whatever happens in the capital, it will not affect them at all. They lean in the direction of the Manon Circle, but don't like the radical elements within the Manon Circle, as well as its "southern" appeal. The God Circle expects to protect the Mages in the North for the blessings (or curses) of the Gods they have, but otherwise ignore the rest of the Archipelago.
    • The Eternal Tower (Purple) The Eternal Tower is strongly influenced by the Central Matron of the Dragon Cult from Draackenrust, which has slowly convinced both the population and Mages centered mostly on Anglia that being a Mage is okay, but that they should be cleansed. Large numbers of Mages have submitted to be cleansed already, converting their Void/Exist powers to Primal, though Ordial Mages are as of yet unwanted, and expelled from these lands. If let to do as they please, it is likely that all lands dominated by the Eternal Tower will soon no longer have dimensional Mages in them.
    • The Dathomir Circle (Black) The Dathomir Circle locals and Mages alike demands the reverting of Magical liberties, and that the capital has granted because too much Magic is being made and used with no regards for the colossal danger. The Mage supporting the Dathomir Circle might be accused of being self-hating, however they claim that Regalia is filled with self-serving egotistical Mages who act like flaring beacons to Spirits to corrupt and invade the people around them for doing silly things with Magic for no real reason. The Dathomir Circle is mostly led by the Aelrrigan Order, wishing to push for a return to the non-trivialization of the risks of Magic, and using Magic "for fun" and to "entertain" or for "selfish pleasures". It should however be noted that while the Dathomir Circle seems large, its ideology is also very weak, and many of the regions are susceptible to flipping their ideology to other groups.
    • The Hallowed Order (Yellow) The Hallowed Order aligns with the Lothar Order entirely. They do not just want to revert Mage liberties, but declare open hunting season to any Mage, and has absorbed some of the latent element of the Brothers of Purity, who are stocking up weapons, lying in wait for some explosion of Mage-violence as an excuse to start purging.
For now these groups exist in a somewhat peaceful status quo, however events, progressions, and individual actions of both Mages and anti-Mages over the next months might be just the excuse groups are looking for to start aggressively pushing their agenda. There is a serious risk of province-wide Mage and anti-Mage violence, the situations remains in a delicate balance. For now, the Exist-Void-Ordial-Primal elements are all roughly equally represented, however there is also a risk that some groups might radicalize out of the Mage-collectives of these regions and create altogether new ideologies.
