- Life Story |
- Illiam's early soul floated curiously around a broken grove, one filled with the decaying bodies of Yanar and the corruptive touch of The Void. Wyld Kathar - followers of The Eloba - inhabited the warped grove, and spent those most formative hours before Illiam's birth teaching them right from wrong.
- Forty eight hours later, Illiam peeled free from a pool of blood, weeds and fungi - grateful to have been 'given life by The Great Toad Mother', and eager to aid his 'family' in any way he could.
- A young Illiam travelled with the Cultists, and spent near their entire life within a place known as 'The Wyld-Warp Woods'. They cultivated corrupted plants, and gradually warped further as the voidly essence influenced their mind and body.
- Along with their general care for the flora came an increasing fascination with mixology and alchemy. Although Illiam was more of an odd servant to the cult than a proper member, he was never harmed by them, and enjoyed making himself useful. They even taught him how to use the Quarterstaff, a useful tool for traversing the dangerous woods around them.
- He mixed all manner of simple potions, and eventually gained enough trust to be taught how to harness the void for power. Such sorcery only furthered his usefulness.
- This went on for a great deal of time. Illiam was happy, peaceful and content to serve. Eventually, an interclan war between Illiam's tribe and a far larger, more powerful one nearly resulted in Illiam's death. For some reason their cult claimed Illiam was a being of the Exist, and that they were an overdue sacrifice.
- Illiam fought viciously, the garden was destroyed, and very few survived between either clan. Illiam made his way out of the Warpwoods and travelled to Regalia, chasing rumours of Void Cults he hopes may accept him.
- Illiam has since made a bargain with Eloba to grant him strength in exchange for eternal servitude. He has became an Argentum Knight, desiring to never again allow the destruction of a garden under his care.
_ - Ability Trivia: Illiam's Wardrobe Pack manifests not as physical armour he himself wears, but rather as his mushrooms defending him. Whether by controlling nearby plant-matter like tree-branches to block attacks, or by clouding the mind with psychedelic spores.
