I think i have found a way to turn coal into diamonds. It is all about physics and sure, it takes some time but the end result is splendid.

Coal doesn't compress into diamonds, graphite does.

Well in real life, when tons of "earth materials" are compressed onto coal for a long amount of time. It'll be turned to diamonds. (I hope I'm corrected ). I think you should have 4 pistons pushing on that one coal ore from each angle.

Coal or graphite can become diamond, all three are pure forms of carbon.

Yes you're right, coal and graphite are all allotropes and carbon so can be compressed into diamond.

As Imboring said, i have had my generator working on making diamonds now for a few months, i still keep my faith that that "Coal Compressor 2000" Is gonna provide some diamonds soon!

He's working on a new way to add diamonds into the market... but its safe to say that by the time that he has produces 1 diamond, every player will have like 100 stacks of diamond blocks each XD

Anything that is carbon and is compressed/heated enough can become diamonds , derps. But anyways, that is very neat igel, . hope you can make it work

No one was retorting that something made of carbon couldnt be compressed

coal and be compressed into diamonds (not the crystal clear type as the white ones) instead they take a color of blue or yellow, by applying massive amounts of heat and compressing it in at the same time you can indeed make diamonds in real life. almost every carbon based atom can be compressed to the point that it become a diamond, you could do the same with a human body by compressing its ash since we humans have a carbon based body (but well you have a certain thing correct about the graphite, coal will be compressed into graphite and graphite will be compressed into diamonds)

The thing i fear about the diamond generator is its' design, i feel it is too primitive and may malfunction, causing me to lose my machinery
