I didn't know where to post this so I thought here was as good as any.

With the plague here what would happen if Regalia was invaded by the plague? How would the citizens react? Would the nobles all flee for the safety of their homes an the palace locking the doors? How would everyone else survive?

Personally my collective chars would try to get everyone out the north wall and head for the Christmas village in the mountains for safety. What are your thoughts? is my plan bonkers?

You should probably put this in Lore Discussion.

@Staff

Hide in the sewers for a bit.Come out.Feed indiscriminately and rampage through the streets yelling "WHERE IS YOUR EMPEROR NOW?FLEEEEEEE!FLEEEESE UNHOLY WORMS!"

While everyone else is screaming their heads off, the charters will be having a free for all slicing and dicing up anything that looks like heresy.

Contrary to popular opinion, the vast majority of the nobles are really competent and educated people who take their job of governing the Empire very seriously. Some of them have been trained all their lives to lead and command the people they protect, so to assume they would all just flee and hide is a bit of a stretch. Certainly they would send their children and women to hide in their palaces, but you can be damn certain that the men would jump to organize the common folk into a uniform defense. The general misconception that nobles are lazy, money grubbing cheaters who live above the commoners and step on them is usually a fabrication made by people who just want to tear down the nobility because they feel it's unfair that they are born into affluence.

While I agree that a majority of nobles are good and honest folk, ( I say a majority cause we have had a few bad apples in the bunch, just like the common folk) this doesn't really answer the question. What kind of defence would be conceivable enough to stand up against a onslaught of the Undead and with each of ours they take the more they grow powerful. As stated in Lore Events/Announcements, this horde isn't like normal undead were taking off the head is a defence for a common man. Instead the people of Regalia would have to turn to two factions they consider illegal or watch with suspicion, Mages and Vampires. As vampires are technically dead already they offer a greater defence to the horde (correct me if I'm wrong or if the vamps are different in this world). And mages are the only ones with enough power to impact the undead, whether it's an antimage, soul Mage or really any other that can destroy a physical body.

So adding onto my question before if it did come down to the Vamps and mages saving us would Regalia go right back to making them illegal straight after the invasion?

Vampirism is just a disease.

Anyway, I think we'd all hide behind our walls and blast them with cannons until they made it in. Of course by then we could have all the people in a safe place, probably the sewers, and live out our lives down there as if it were a bunker. Basically like any apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic movie.

I really want this to happen. I mean, all the story stuff has been epic, but its not really anything we can actively RP with. If Estale were to breach the Magic Fairy Bubble (lol) and the Bone Monsters- can we call them Bone Golems? Bone Monsters sounds generic af- were to attack, it would be so epic. Imagine a week or more where the city is just under 100% lockdown, and the armies are holding the walls then they are finally breached and the Bone Golems swamp the streets, anarchy and chaos ensures, and the people and nobles have to fight back together.

Also, considering how Surprisingly well equipped the sewer people are, a last ditch effort if the nobles leading the peoples into the sewers to take a secret escape tunnel out, and they bump into the army of massed sewer dwellers who are like "Ready to BONE these pricks RIGHTY THEN MAYTES!?!"

Would be so cool (plz staff i need in my life)
