Her ancestors were once Altalar that tended to the wyverns up until their demise in 95 BC. But once the wyverns mysteriously returned in 150 AC, her family resumed taking care of them, which eventually led them to becoming Voltalar. Both of her parents were highly militaristic, and wished to hone their children's combat prowess and individualism. It led to Ianthe having a childhood more bland and bleaker than most, heightening her emotional stoicism and quietness. She followed her family into their social caste; The Third Pillar. Developing into a Frost Watcher, Ianthe rarely traveled outside of the stronghold for leisurely purposes. If she wasn't training, she was either tending to the wyverns, whom she held close emotional bonds with, or occasionally participated in a few Isldarrin festivals, where she picked up dancing as a casual hobby. Eventually, Ianthe switched her position as a Frost Watcher and became a Wind Watcher; She set out into the world, traveling across the North Belt, untouched and unharmed by the blizzards and frigid temperature. The Voltalar shunned most travelers out of paranoia, and kept a low profile to the best of her abilities. Soon after, she took a ship down to the Corontium - set on guiding suffering souls, and mending the rivers. Played History: Ianthe becomes a Palest for Esmee Bancroft. (2/19/309) Ianthe enters and serves under the Violet Order. (2/28/309) Ambushed by several vampires, Ianthe loses her life in midst of the fight. She is rescued and revived.
