I Loved/hate This Server

I'm actually quite disappointed in the replies a lot of you make. For one, I would like to personally thank @Mecharic and other people that actually tried to help this person, instead of targeting them as if they are a lesser person than you.
For those that did attack this person, how about showing some respect, or at least restraining your ego long enough to realize you don't have to post. What on earth is that achieving?
A better reply to this would be contacting this person, offering them a hand to show them the greater qualities of this server.
Not to mention the amount of people happy enough to abuse the rating system when someone says something you don't like.
I for one are sorry that this person wasn't shown the better sides of the Server before they experienced this, and their only option they could see was to make a complaint.
You should all go re-think your lives or at least your attitude.

Now I can't retrieve your items or re-set your bed, but I can offer my hand to help you find things in this server they you WILL enjoy.
So if you're interested, let's set a time that you and I can get on (time zones and all) and work out what you want to achieve out of this server.
It may seem harsh at first, but there's lot of little things that are great.
For example,
Hundreds of people run different themed factions, and you can join most of them by just asking their officer. From there, you can work up their ranks is you work hard enough, or explore the many things they offer in those factions.
Some factions allow you to be miners, farmers, blacksmiths, or warriors.
Another example?
The beauty of role-play and the festivity of Regalia.
In Regalia (The capital Role-play city you first spawn to when in the Role-play server), you are introduced to many people using "text" to play characters. People have drinks at the bars, plan "sneaky" dealings, or even run businesses.
There are many different role-play characters on this server, and getting to know each one of them, working out where you fit amongst them if half the fun.
If you like building -
Many factions have creative servers, so if you happen to find factions that do, you can offer to build for them. They might ask you to design some things on their creative server first, and get it good enough to be implemented into MassiveCraft but the challenge of making something worth while that you can look back and say "HEY, I built this" is quite satisfying, and my favourite.
And if you need a hand, I can offer mine for some feedback, or you can ask the leaders of the faction (or builders) what they think of your builds.

We don't need anymore negative comments insulting towards this one person, be the better person and maybe offer some advice.
Now, I understand how upset you might be, being killed by a random person and all, but you have to calm down. Losing some stuff isn't nice, but it isn't the end of the world. I know, some things are hard to get, and you must feel outraged, but what was done was perfectly compliant with the rules. Maybe join a faction for some protection? That might help, factions are fun. This isn't really a PVP server, but is a role-play one. Try RP, you might like it more.

Me thinks that the people who rated offensive need to be randomly killed a few times and have their beloved home ransacked...

Locking due to the sheer number of negative, non-helpful comments which quite frankly are attacks. Attacking negativity with negativity only produces more of the same.
