I Got Banned For Helping The Server

A guy in global was using all caps to advertise stuff and so I used all caps to show him it was annoying and against the rules, then I got banned for 5 minutes and then muted, and when I asked the moderator who banned me he/she said that he/she didn't ban the actual person who was advertising in all caps.

You didn't help the server. You simply sunk to his level. You helped him, not the server. Get your facts straight.

In my opinion if you see someone stealing, you don't steal from him to "show him its wrong". If you see someone griefing, you don't grief him to "show him its wrong".

Exactly our point how is that 'helping' the server, besides it is only a 5 minute ban, not that big of a deal.

A very famous quote... I think: "Two wrongs don't make a right." It is exactly what you're doing, trying to make a right by wronging them. Now, if you get banned for telling him not to advertise in all caps or cleaning up someone's griefing issues, that moderator should be kicked from the team.

I was muted for saying good afternoon in global because 30 other people said it as well.. global was spammed on purpose and i was part of it; so i was muted for 5 or 10 minutes and rightly so. There are rules on MassiveCraft and this server wouldn't be as amazing as it is if they didn't exist. Im glad I was muted because it shows me that people are doing what needs to be done to keep this server great

I say "Good ___" all the time when I get on, and never get muted. You musta used caps or something :3
