- Childhood | Hudson was born the last of six children and only daughter of working class parents in Regalia. Her first lessons in defense came from older brothers and neighborhood bullies.
- Adolescence | With well-established grown siblings, Hudson was never pressured to pursue a calling of her own. Instead, seeing that his daughter was a quick study, her father would send her to work with whichever brother was most in need of a hand.
