Prob gonna have to sell my house eventually now that the prem money bonus is gone. I normally don't have enough free time to make sufficient income to pay for it.

It is pretty hard to make money even for a poordistrict house. I had one for a while but couldnt afford the cost. Auctioning items is risky and you normally dont get many offers and shops that start at 500 regals are wayyy too pricy for most people

Alright. I'm here to explain my choice on the poll, since it seems to bother @Party_Penguin27

If you've not noticed, there are not many houses that are available (not owned). Why would we want to lower the price? Then it will just be easier for newer (or anybody, for that matter?) players to buy one that they probably will not use (or they might go inactive, this is the reason we have the sign at the entrance of Regalia, even with current prices! Clearly it is easy enough to get them at the current prices, imagine if we lowered them!)

If you actually attempt to acquire something that will sell, (diamonds, lore items?) then you will see how easy this money comes. If you earn the money, through time, and get enough to buy a house, you'll appreciate it more.

And, to restate my opinion, no, I do /not/ believe the prices should be lowered.

Shops tend to make enough money to pay the rent and make a profit. As for a house, it's not hard to make enough money to pay the rent if you put an hour or so a week in a dark room.

First: Id you have a proper shop you earn back the rent and a lot more. Shop prices is fine.
Second: For all you poor people. Seriously spend some time getting materials or darkrroming (to get enchants) and sell it. It isn't that hard after all.
Third: If you say you can't get materials because you roleplay. Then you shouldn't be playing minecraft. Or atleast not complaining that getting materials is hard.

You do realize this server /IS/ a /ROLEPLAY/ server... Just wanting to clarify that you know that...
Its /ROLEPLAY/ first /PVP SURVIVAL/ SECOND

Why you do dis Azas?
Hurtin' mah feelers
@Azas

3 Disagrees.. This is the number one roleplay server. You have to be thinking something that I am not.. It is 100% obvious that roleplay comes first.

Fine bring on the disagrees, but let me clarify what i'm trying to say here. Rp is catered to more then pvp is.

Where's the option on the poll for 'This makes no sense'?
If you could sell a house for 1500r, or for 200r to a person who just joined, which would you choose?
Unless you mean rents, which no, I don't agree with at all. We need more money sinks in this economy, not less.

I know this is a roleplay server. But this IS minecraft, so survival gamepley is just as important as roleplay. I even remember a time when only a few people roleplayed. I just asked people to stop complaining about getting materials is hard, because it isn't.
I never forced anyone to not roleplay, i just told them that this is minecraft.

Why do we need more money sinks. Do you want deflation, which will make prices fall even more?

... You actually think Massive.... I've been sitting in teamspeak for about 10 minutes with a few rpers and me being the pvper... It is in no way equal...

And please, go ahead and explain to me how the server is equal to both pvp and rp.

Us RP'ers and RP+PVP mixers shouldn't talk about the pure PVP'ers.
Mostish PVP'ers will jump for the Disagree rating if you say a single word about it ¬_¬

You want a fancy house.. you better work bi- mate.

Nah, seriously, if you go play survival and you sell stuff its quite easy to make money, just saying.
Or sell something you're good at, like all of those people who sell art..

What Im saying: Its easy to make money if you put some effort into it.

If anyone needs a house cheaper than average, I got one I am selling for 1000r. Can send me a mail if you want it

This is true. What 'I mean is the price of renting. As half RP Half Faction i make a bit if money but darkrooms are NOT allowed in my fac and normally when i sell items i get none to very little money. They should add shops where you could buy just one or two shops. Renting is really a money sink.

I may have disagreed with what your saying but I'm too distracted by the fabulous video

Slow down there, 'Economic Expert'. Some of us aren't the PvP type, and just like to roleplay. We all have different preferences. Some of us would have difficulty getting good enchants to sell, because people like you, who don't roleplay can get way better enchants quicker.

Don't go saying we can't play a game because we do something different than you.

I never told you to get materials, nor did i say it is the easiest thing. I just told you to stop complaining about it, because after all this is minecraft.

EDIT: How is it even possible to disaggre with this?

Why are darkrooms not allowed in your fac?
O_o

Apparantly they "Dont fit the build style"
What an Idiot.

Darkrooms are OOC areas.
My faction's a RP faction, and we are being allowed to use a darkroom from a generous ally.
The area isn't part of our faction, it's an OOC MCMMO training area.

We also have an underground, rather ugly farm. But it's OOC, and purely for gain, not to look at~

No offense, but that guy is dumb :I

You say this.. Yet I have 5 disagree's from 5 roleplayers. Now who was it that jumped to the disagree button on my comment?

If you cannot afford even a poor district house, you're very un-creative with your methods of generating income.

This so much. Just by simply voting each day you can easily generate enough income (Between direct Regal rewards, and the selling of Vote Items) to pay the rent on a poor district property. Minimal effort and takes no more then 5 minutes a day.

And if you can't afford a poor district house you're really not trying, like at all. Poor district homes are the easiest homes to keep. I've had one for 2 months, it is easily the cheapest and easiest home to keep. The only homes I've ever abandoned because I couldn't afford them were common homes, and they were 300r and instead of just leaving it I sold it. I managed to get 600r for it, and oh look what could I renew now? A poor district home for probably months now. You just have to sell things, even if it's just for a little money, you can still sell other things.

I try but most of my money goes toward things to improve the faction or to help other people

I have a little extra income and would like to rent a house. HOWEVER there are no empty ones available and there are entire poordistrict rows with no signs. This makes me sad.
