History

The Trevaskis family was started in 290 AC by the formerly known Nathaniel Drummond who has made a name for himself within this pact of individuals as the founder, and leader of the Trevaskis from the very beginning. Nathaniel was a precarious teenager within an atmosphere that he seemingly didn't belong in. Instead of opting for more of a adventurous, gratis life then he was offered beforehand in his semi-wealthy family of commoners, instead of outright moving the Highlander began on his rebellious teenage warpath to being practically exiled from his hometown of Falmouth and sent on a one way trip to Daendroc, in the inland town of Grovio.

Within Nathaniel's first week in Grovio he met his closest friend, a Corsair Varran named Diego, or ironically known as "Sea Dog" to the rest of the family. The Varran became close to Nathaniel through several encounters with the law, both on separate charges, but held in the same lowly cell that was eventually blown to dust due to Diego's crew disagreeing with the law enforcement. Leaving, Diego offered Nathaniel time on his boat in exchange for temporary servitude to him, and his men. Agreeing, Diego and Nathaniel were a dynamic duo from the first day, but soon to be caught up with by the navy, forcing them off of their vessel, therefore forcing them out of work. After drinking away their sorrows of lost crew, and the ship that Diego loved dearly, Nathaniel drunkenly sputtered about Diego being in his crew, in a ship called the Trevaskis which ended up sticking the Varran for days on end, until he finally confronted Nathan about the drunken idea, and soon they were bound as brothers, and holding each others backs until death. This being said, Diego and Nathaniel became known throughout villages of Daendroc as both something to be feared, and a group to be humored with.

As the duo reigned over the Daendroc waterways as local pirates, and thieves- as well as mercenaries. More and more degenerates of Aloria came knocking at the Nathaniel's and Diego's life as they continued on their adventures, gaining more followers as the months ran by them. One of them being another Ailor named Derek, a Colonial spear-fisher who was birthed out in Daendroc and quite literally left to die at a young age. Despite his rather unfortunate background Derek became known as the comic-relief out of the bunch, but even more so loyal and helpful toward Nathaniel and Diego, the trio soon became noticed as the top of the 'family' per say. Time moving forth Nathaniel exchanged his name for one that seemed more appealing, Nace, and began striving toward Regalian waters as Daendroc slowly pushed out the small group of rebels. In fear of being slain there the entirety of the family came to a unanimous decision to leave for Regalia, neither as pirates or thieves, but to use their skills to thrive and make a name for themselves, despite their diversity.

OOC

The Trevaskis family is a low-commoner house that now resides within Regalia, their loyal to each other, but is generally allowed to do whatever they wish with little restriction, and without concern. Though, on an out-of-character note, simply because the family is so tight-knit it would be highly unlikely for anyone to rebel/conspire against the family/family members, as all these characters come together to create an expansive community, the only people they can truly call family. That being said, characters can have other gang affiliations, and choose where they want to take the character, meaning you aren't limited to the slums at all, you may employ yourself with other work outside of the walls of poverty, or not (though keep in mind every character in this family has a background with criminals/criminal activity). I, as in me, WrongChat, have created the family thread purely for more diversity and more freedom than in other families, so I expect each character to be played uniquely and have their own niche when it comes to the family.

The Family
As the family head I have the right to dismiss anyone who acts out of order within my family. As the family head I've restricted the trio that have supported family lore, though they can still be applied for the player will be critiqued harshly on their roleplay abilities. These character restrictions will be told with each character when applicable.
  • Glascow Olvirich Trevaskis "Great-Father" Restricted | Playable: Glascow is the elder Trevaskis, considered the 'all knowing one' out of the family. Glascow has a lengthy background, but how he appeared in the family is unknown by anyone. Everyone seemed to know him from the beginning of the family. This character is restricted, meaning players attempting to apply for said role will be held under high critique.
  • Nace Fredric Trevaskis "Ace" Played: Nace, formerly known as Nathaniel, was the founder of the family alongside his brother Diego. It goes without saying that Nace is the patriarch, and overall leader of anything family orianted as people believe him to be the most entertaining, but the most assertive being within the bunch.
    • Tobias Gordon Trevaskis "The Kid" Unplayable: Tobias is seen as the sort of golden-boy whenever the family is near Falmouth, they make sure to stop by and say hello to Nace's son. Although his family holds Nace under high scruitny, nothing seems to stop the man from ordering a dock at Falmouth. The house is on their best behaviour whilst around the boy.
  • Diego Julian Trevaskis "Sea Dog" Restricted | Playable: Diego is considered nothing less than family for Nace. Diego was a amature pirate, but a very courageous one. Throughout the main trio Diego seems to always find himself as the more logical one, but always up for a good time when work is finished. This character is restricted, meaning players attempting to apply for said role will be held under high critique.
  • Griffin Clark Trevaskis "Fish Boy" Restricted | Playable: The spear-fisherman has a reputation of being the most boisterious out of the trio, always having some compelling story to tell about mythical pirates, or the deep sea. Quickly rising up to be one of Nace's and Diegos' best bud due to his story telling capabilites, and his skill to catch them a good lunch. This character is restricted, meaning players attempting to apply for said role will be held under high critique
Wuznc7H.png
  • Gorhard Blacjaw Trevaskis "Shorty" Playable: The most handy within the family, some say if you give Gorhard a day he could fix all of Aloria. That being said, this Aldor-Dwarf is on the more stubborn side, and always seems to be in a somewhat bad mood around strangers, though if accompinied by his cat, Felix, there is never a problem that Gorhard can't take.
  • Glorb-Glorb Trevaskis "Muskrat" Playable: Glorb is the bud of everyones joke, he is the only Pygmy-Orc anyone has seen within the family. Even though he is the laughing stock, he is useful with his somewhat-stable thinking, and moral support for the family. If anyone has any drama, or emotional issues they usually gravitate toward Glorb for advice, despite jokes made.
  • Kat Flecki Trevaskis "Noisy" Playable: If there was an assigned role for a bard amongst the family, Kat the Colonial-Ailor would instantly be cast into it. Her love of music seems to outshine her physcopathic ways, even the trio seems to fear her somewhat given her blunt, and sharp demenor. From the sweetest girl within Regalia to a girl with a passion to kill, Nace, out of fear asked her to join the party when she tore off out Jimbo's arm and hit him over the head with it. To play this character, you need to be someone who can create a decent narrative without totally screwing over this niche.
  • Jimbo O'Riley Trevaskis "Armless" Playable: With a prostetic metal arm, Jimbo is the heafty one amongst the group, and the one that styalizes most of the families hair, and look. He is the most passive amongst the famly, and only seems to help with the logistics of things, but to compensate he is one of the most avid smugglers throughout the Arch, often spends most of his time mulling over maps and waterways for passage without navy checkpoints and whatnot. Also, is terrified of Kat.
  • Lilly Bastille Trevaskis "Celery-Stick" Playable: Lilly is one of the more carred for out of the group given that she is only sixteen. Seen as the daughter to all those within the family- she is spoiled with the most rations and whatnot, also is the only one within the family that gets their birthday celebrated. Though, frankly, she has a never ending crush on Griffin, though it is hard to tell.. for the most part. To play this character you cannot be boring, and only seek out love with Griffin, add niches and make Lilly something no one would expect.
  • Xaiver Tristan Trevaskis: "Normie" Playable: Xaiver is somewhat of a extremest, taking mostly after Nace and Griffin when it comes to that regard, acting as an older sibling to Lilly, given that their only two years apart, Xaiver has a deep care for the Yanar. That being said, he also has a lust for getting into trouble, given his hot-headed mannerisms. Xaiver is an established street-fighter, taking training from the founding three.

Staff
Staff within House Trevaskis is something of an odd system, as there isn't a guardforce whatsoever considering they are of very low status, but more so farmers and those who pledge themselves toward the Trevaskis for an exchange for saftey, or services. Those who do pen a letter ususally become scribes or messangers.

Discord: Have it, preferably to be sent over PM.
OOC Punishments (/Seen): A clean slate.
Time spent RPing: Should almost be on my third year. Otherwise I'm pretty active depending if life is hectic or not.
Lore Knowlage 1-10: Give it a good seven.
Character Name: Kat Trevaskis "The Noisy"
Why said character?: Seeing the character I was rather charmed by the idea and the said "niche" they fit under. Personally, I like the idea of the "Innocent until proven guilty", which I feel would fit her since she is truly aggressive, and has no problem harming people so long she can prove a point. Though the amount she carries around her various instruments and insists on playing them for money or the entertainment of her comrades who seem too scared to really deny her show. Plus, if anyone decides to play the one-armed wonder I feel I'd manage to play Kat being advantageous of that fear, and anyone else that seems to be fearful of the bard's psychotic ways.
How's life?: Pretty good, can't complain. You?

OOC Punishments (/Seen): None whatsoever.
Time spent RPing: Averaged across 2 weeks, probably 2 hours a day? Averaged across one week it can vary from 2 hours a day to 1 hour a week depending on the week chosen.
Lore Knowlage 1-10: If 5 is average knowledge of the lore, probably about 6 or 7? My only real weaknesses are historical figures and alchemy.
Character Name: Janjoel Trevaskis
Personality Description: This freebond Shendar appears to be a perfectly nice, if untrustworthy, guy at first. He is ready to help out his friends and family whenever, but he often backs out of favours for people he doesn't know and regularly forgets to return things he's borrowed from people, even sometimes denying that he ever borrowed the thing in the first place. This is largely down to the fact that he doesn't believe there's anything in your 'word' that makes it worth believing, and no obligation for anyone to do what they've said they were going to do. He has inherited a few mannerisms from his parents, who were persuaded to flee the Shadow Isles as teenagers and still did behave like Shendar sometimes. Most of his personality, however, is congruent with the behaviour of the Altalar he grew up with.
Relatively recently, Janjoel took up void worship under the Weeping Beast. He uses the powers it grants him to help him mug slum-dwellers, and distract and pull away assailants from his friends. He is often chastised by some members of his family from the apparent pleasure he derives from the sacrifice of the goats, but he denies this and doesn't seek out the harm of others or anything. The other Trevaskises just think it's a bit weird.
While he is good-natured, if a little immoral, the Elf does have a few issues that is often put down to his Shendar parentage but that are likely the result of a fairly unfortunate childhood. He sometimes suffers from outbursts of sudden rage, often brought on by seemingly inconsequential circumstances (somebody mispronouncing his name multiple times, somebody drinking loudly, a sibling stealing one of his shoes in play, etc) and normally lasting for half an hour or less. He recognises every time that whatever it was that caused him to explode was stupidly small, and he normally apologises profusely to outsiders if they are involved. However, his family are so used to his outbursts that they are quick to restrain him and, if possible, lock him in his room or tie his hands so he doesn't hit anyone. More often, they will simply hold him back if it happens in public, pin him, or leave the room.
Personality liable to change a little as I play him.
Niche: Mugger, trapper. Really nice guy, but very disruptive at times.
How's life?: Life is pretty great, thanks. 'v'
