In 123 A.C a dragon egg hatched somewhere in the mountains of Farah'deen, the child of this egg would be the first patriarch of House Shaka. He took on took on the first name of Yaya Shaka, recruiting more people to his tribe. Once he had around 40-50 people, he would lead raids on Qadir settlements to take their riches and then their weapons. He took swords, bows, and shields, teaching people how to use them and learning how to do it himself. So, in 160-164 A.C he set up an elite band of warriors to raid, leaving the weaker ones behind at Korbamakora. These warriors would later become the Inhlangano and enslaved many people to become their grunts. But this wasn't the only thing that had kept Yaya busy, in 163 A.C, his first son was born before he was killed, his son was called Oumar.
Oumar was raised without a father, seeing that Yaya died in 165 A.C due to his hand being cut off and infection spreading. When he rose to power in 203 A.C (His mother acted as a regent.) His reign was short lasted however, he was hardly a warrior and not very popular among his people. He invested most of his time to making medics of the family. Though, in 211 A.C he was assassinated by an unknown assailant that was likely a family member or, as some suspect, his mother. Though, he did have a son, his name was Bakary and he was the most liked patriarch that the Shaka's have ever seen.
Bakary was fifteen when he came to power, he exiled anyone who would oppose his throne and immediately began military expeditions. He attacked Qadir in order to get weapons and new technology that the tribe would advance on, and he ruled with an iron fist. He expanded the Inhlangano to be around 700 soldiers in their prime, he then set out to siege Qadir forts. In 264 A.C, Bakary had his first son, this son was named Bantu, and he was his pride and joy. But Bakary kept his conquering spree, personally training his son in the shield, bow, and sword. He also expanded their knowledge in Sand Duning, many Inhlangano learning to do this, their main tactic being one person drives while the other shoots arrows at enemies. But soon, Bakary met his match when he accidentally mistook a Songaskian fort for a Qadir fort. When he realized his mistake, he took 300 of the Inhlangano and let the others escape, they were all slaughtered by the end of the day.
So, with Bakary dead, Bantu became the patriarch in 283 A.C and is the patriarch to this day. Bantu is a rather passive Songaskian, but he did avenge his father and amassed his slave armies and the remaining 400 Inhlangano. He attacked the fort with all of his might on the fort, overpowering and outmaneuvering the people there. By the end of the week, he had taken the forts and all of the fertile ground around it. He established a temple there in the name of his father, taking the supposed Dragon bone that was already there to use as an alter-artifact. After that, he became passive again, keeping quite docile and making alliances with other Songaskians. That all changed in 305 A.C a dragon was sighted in Regalia, that really interested Bantu and he immediately moved. Ever since, he has became more sophisticated with his life views, and has moved his main family to his home in Regalia.
Male: When described by other races; the common answer is simply terrifying. Male Shakas are usually very big, being around 6'7 - 6'10 and almost always Muscular/Strongman. When occupation is asked, most of the time they are fighters, if they are not fighters than they are healers that originated in the Oumar. They dress for battle, even if they don't have their weapon they are always ready to fight. They often have either pure white or jet black hair, black hair is more common among the cousins while white hair is among the mainline. Most of them are Air Elemental by nature, though all are there, air is just the most common.
Female: Females are much more diverse in body-size than their male counterparts, being the main crafters of the tribe. Females can have body shapes from anything to Ripped down to Femmefetale, the stronger ones making metal weapons and the weaker making clothes. Most of them aren't really built for fighting, and they never really have been. This is mainly because the males of the House prefer prettier females so they try to breed them that way. With mix results, this has come through and they are fairly happy with it, that or they just don't complain. They also have white hair for the mainline and black for the not-so mainline.
Sword of Inhlangano- The sword of Inhlangano is one of the oldest weapons in the armory of the Shaka's. This Bronze sword was once wielded by Yaya himself, there is even a fragment of Dragon bone built into the Ferr-Iron hilt. This is the sword that is used the lead the Inhlangano and is often a sign of the patriarch, to whom it belongs.
Fort Yamil- This is the Fort that Bentu conquered after his father's death, a very fertile ground too. Right next to two creeks, this moderate sized fort is also a good water supply and is believed to once be an oasis before the Great Storm. This is also the sight where Bentu set up the temple in Bakar's name.
Niono- Niono is probably the most populated heirloom that the Shaka's own, for it is the original village of the family. Niono is the village that Yaya set up after his raiding spree on the Qadir. This is where the House would grow and ultimately where the Inhlangano were born.
