House Information
Family History
The furthest back the Jarsdels can go is to "Thorsten the Hammer", who had lived in the colonial settlement city of Dawnton as a mercenary-turned-outlaw with supposed Alt-Regalisch heritage, though he died in 217AC. Since their lineage is shrouded in mystery from that point, they adopted the Colonial culture. The Jarsdel family name was formed when Ben received a ship of the same name, creating the "Jarsdel Imported Goods" trade. In order to afford expenses, Ben had to sell his home in Dawnton and live in the ship, and so with it he received the mock surname which his children kept to remember him by when the ship, with Ben Jarsdel on it, sunk to the floor of the Talath Sea.
Ben's son, Ayden Jarsdel, would inherit the business without the ship, and resorted to crime. Since his first priority was to revive his father's business, when he was granted a ship it was to smuggle contraband with. Getting locked into both overseas and neighbor illegal organizations, Ayden made a very large sum of money in a very short amount of time before inevitably dying at the hands of one of these groups. Due to the threats in Dawnton, their home city, the remaining Jarsdels cast themselves into exile with their father's ship, setting sail for the Regalian Archipelago; one of their father's main targets for exporting illegal contraband, and their sister's and nephew's home, with the intention of continuing where their father left off.
Physical Traits
House Jarsdel is a Colonial Ailor family. Every member of the family possesses chocolate brown hair and pale blue eyes, with typically pale skin. There is a strict fashion rule within the family, in which males are looked down upon without a shaved undercut hairstyle and uniform. Female members of Jarsdel Family keep their hair trimmed short to at least shoulder level.
Mental Traits
All members of House Jarsdel are expected to share the three traits; courage, loyalty, and pride. The family members have been raised and experienced enough to bind them close together, providing undying loyalty to one another. Males of the family are expected to be masculine and capable of combat, based on not just family standards but experiences as well, while females are taught to serve the family in whichever ways they can. The Jarsdels take pride in the family, and never allow anyone to undermine them or their name.

OOC Rules
- I expect your Jarsdel character to be your main character.
- Remember that I can always strip you of your character for any reason. This will usually not be the case if you play the character according to the family lore.
- The characters of House Jarsdel would live and die for their family. If you try to play a rebellious child, you will be stripped of their role as they'd be disowned (if the character even has those tendencies which is unlikely).
- I am always open for family drama, so long it has it's own dosage and does not harm the family and it's associations and allies.
