House history:
House Gochni was founded by the current house head, Fimbur Gochni, decades ago. It was mainly used as a way to gain "legitimacy" to some of it's less reputable business deals, as well as a way to increase it's landholdings. The house also retains a small bastard branch founded from the current house Elder's brother Thorson Gochni. This bastard branch contains one of the more infamous members of the family, Gochnipunchni the Elder.

House Gochni has had a long past with the Regalian Empire, they have lived here for decades and have cultivated a large business, which finds many of the Regalian conflicts, be it supplying Tin for cannons or spices for the troops, House Gochni is always there, looking to make a profit.
The majority of the house's business locations are abroad, however the "Main Business", the Gochni Imperial Shipping and Post actively funds and profits from businesses stationed in Regalia
Should one dig around in a bit, they may find Gochnipunchni the Elder in the sewers or above ground, additionally if they dug around some more, House Gochni is funding several airship cargo businesses, presumably to ship their cargo past the blockade

House Gochni's standing influence in the market of the empire came to a head during the occupation of Freya Lo, while most shipments of cargo sat in the harbour, languishing, House Gochni's airships seemed to escape the blockade, making a healthy profit, snapping up most of the cargo.
Almost overnight the modest airship business of a few airships doubled, then tripled in value allowing Fimbur Gochni to begin the Gochni Imperial Shipping and Postal Guild, dedicated to allowing small businesses to get off their feet, while also making a healthy profit. In the meantime, the bastard branch of the family was also making headway, with Gochnipunchni the Elder creating a network of contacts throughout Regalia.

At that time, the majority of the company was making a huge amount of money, however the Fendarfelle Mining and Metallurgy branch of House Gochni has begun to lose money owing to the difficulties of shipping ore by air. Were one to look into it, they would find that House Gochni would be willing to pay top dollar for ships to take their cargo.
However, recently the House has fallen into hard times, they were forced to sell their stocks in the various businesses that the house thrived on, and invested all that money into a Postal Service.

I don't mean to be a spoilsport or anything, but it really does need to be said that Yanar cannot be low noble, unless accomplished through one of the methods indicated here.

I would also heavily reduce the amount of businesses this character owns. Not even high noble families tend to own more than 2 businesses, and it seems just a bit OP and unrealistic that your character would have such huge businesses in three different continents.

Finally,
while most shipments of cargo sat in the harbour, languishing, House Gochni's airships seemed to escape the blockade, making a healthy profit, snapping up most of the cargo.
This would have had to have been done via player quest. Airships are incredibly expensive and unreliable in Aloria, and only the richest businesses have them at all. An airship would certainly not be missed leaving the city, and would likely be shot down by the harbour batteries immediately.

I really don't like being critical, but please understand I'm only doing so because I'd love to see more Yanar families around. I hope you can correct these inconsistencies and make this an interesting, viable house! Massive is in desperate need of more commoner and Yanar families, and not to mention this is a very interesting concept for a culture. I've never seen someone put so much work into a Yanar-Dwarf before.

OK, to run some technicalities...
Technically the only business House Gochni owns is Gochni Investment Guild, he simply owns majority shares in the others... I should probably add that..
Storm Crow Consortium is the airship business that he invested in and has done numerous player quests for that very purpose
As for the actual "Low nobility" itself I was under the impression that he qualifies for the Half-Breed law on dwarves, allowing him to passively have the title if he has been in Regalia for long enough and has aided heavily through commerce and funding, both of which he qualifies for

Also a quick mention, Gochnipunchni isn't so much a noble as a very, very wealthy commoner with (hopefully) technical aldermanship

Fair enough. I would still be sure not to make him too "rich" with these, even if he does own an investment guild, as it is technically using NPC's. Investment guilds take a lot of money to run in the first place.

I'll take your word for it!

All Yanar are full-blooded Yanar, regardless of seedling type. They cannot be half-breeds. The family could only be considered low noble if its head of house is a noble Dwarf, and even then I'd be a bit careful with min-maxing Gochnipuchni with it.

Wait!
It says that house "rankings" are not determined by title or whatnot, it is determined OOC
So therefore he does not need a title to be registered as a Low Noble, just needs to be rich
Though IC he is (hopefully) just a lowly Alderman

A fun little staff quote
"Low nobility, in its least, means to imply a family is rich -- they don't necessarily have to have a title. So with that said, technically almost any race can be low Nobility in that respect, though once we get to titles it gets a bit more picky. "
