Character Name: Adeline d'Ortonnaise
Character Pitch: 34 year old Adeline was self taught off the basics of Range Schools by reading them through books. She is an elegant lady often willing to flirt but she does mean business. She would prefer a carreer in military as an archer. She is pretty good with a bow and loves to go to the Shooting Range. She is short but skinny she is around 5.6 with beautiful red hair and often wears dresses fitting her family colors. She loves to read, shoot, and spend time at the tavern. Most of all she likes making her family proud

@Goldifish is removed from the family due to inactivity and commitment to another character (in another RP family).

Annabella d'Ortonnaise will remain a character locked for the while. The previous actions of the character are either voided or transferred to a new, non-d'Ortonnaise and unaffiliated character. This choice is up to Goldi.

Character Pitch: Henri Laurent Januvaire de la Bieu d'Ortonnaise. Uncle to Audrey. An emasculated older fellow with a delicate constitution and a refined palate. He has expensive, obscenely Ithanian taste in food, clothing, and decor. The man is almost rabidly patriotic and a devout worshiper of Priscelle who recognizes females to be the superior sex at almost every point. His ultimate goal is to see an Empress crowned, so that the Holy Spirit may occupy a vessel which is equally as pure. He loathes the lesser races and makes his distaste known through scoffing and courtly snobbery. He is prone to long bouts of dramatic ennui, especially regarding the state of the Empire, and its holdings. "Back in my day" is his favorite phrase.

Pending Interview! Though not much of a worry about roleplay, more so to finalise the details of the character.

Well, Well! I've been on massive for two and a half years, I've done a bit of noble roleplay, though the family went somewhat inactive and it didn't go very far, I've done almost all scenarios, though never really a noble family that has much of a reputation, I thought I'd try it out!

Proposed Character's name:

Victoriana d'Ortonnaise

Character Pitch:

Victoriana is a thriving young aristocrat, the young woman hopes to gain reputations within regalia and one day become chief in command of the d'Ortonnaise house guard. She has a kind heart, often giving to charity and the homeless. Though she still has the capacity to harm and be quite harsh, she served in the regalian military for a short while, though, quit after about a year, due to missing her family. Victoriana one day wishes to find a suitable husband to help her continue on her way towards glory, and of course, love her. Victoriana is currently studying in the school of Griffer, steadily improving by the year.

I'd like to think I'm a relatively experienced / 'skilled' roleplayer, but have limited exposure to noble roleplay, so the transition would be more about learning to roleplay in a noble environment, rather than learning to roleplay more maturely. I've been mostly involved in 'mundane'/private nobility, but nothing grand or political between houses. I've been on the server, on and off, for around 5 years, so I know how everything works pretty well, just need an active group to roleplay with! (Due to past inactivity I'm still catching up on world events, but I'm getting there).

Proposed Character's name:
Victoriana d'Ortonnaise (Or Annabela if the personality is transferable, since I don't want to step on anyone's toes / directly compete with the previous poster)

Character Pitch:
Victoriana is above all, a pragmatist, and it is pragmatism that determines most of her other traits. She is intellectual and logical, perceptive and calculating, leading some to view her as insular and antisocial, but she is more than capable of socialising for the sake of the family's reputation. While she may privately dislike the ostentatious conventions of being a noble woman, she would never let this form in to disrespect or disobedience. This is mostly due to her constant balance of both Ithanian and more Leutz-Vixe ideals - Victoriana manages to function impressively on the very edge of an identity crisis. While she supports the idea of a matriarchy vehemently, she struggles with the idea of pacifism and militarisation, falling more towards the conservative side, of peace. As such, Victoriana, rather diplomatically, chose to pursue her vocation in alchemy and medicine, as this will allow her to support her people, even in times of war, without committing to either extreme, rather than become a general or military figure. Regardless of political alignment, Victoriana also finds helping others - particularly the lower classes in need - to be extremely fulfilling, perhaps (along with her pragmatism) fueling her disillusionment from Ithanian self indulgence and ostentation. Her exploration of alchemy has also sparked a great love for the sciences, and she hopes to better her academic knowledge as much as possible. Victoriana is also an extremely straightforward individual with strong morals and beliefs, allowing her impressive adaptability to any situation - She is one to make the very best out of a bad situation, rather than actively seek to improve the situation itself, unless it's a viable option. In this sense, she is perfectly happy with mediocrity.
