House Amaya is a grand Daendrocqin household, and have staples in the crime and political worlds. Their origins in the world recorded from around 200AC, where the family entered the forestry industry. Working from Forreista Natal, the family ran several lumber mills and supplied their wood to several houses, and aided in the creation of trade navies and expansion of the Imperial Navy. They continued to run their lumber monopoly throughout the area, taxing other companies who wished to use their mills and resources. The family had been around for only roughly sixty years when a powershift happened, as the patriarch went into seclusion at the death of his wife during childbirth, passing the family mantle to his brother, Esteban. Esteban raised the triplets who were his nieces and nephews, grooming one child to be an excellent tactician and political expert, while raising his niece and upcoming matriarch in seclusion, where she would be beaten repeatedly and taught little to nothing. Once they were of age, a few members of the family moved to Regalia to seek political support from other families and participate in several wars the empire was waging. During this time, the matriarch Ezmeralda was challenged by her brother, Atilio for the leadership of the family. This created a feud between loyalists of both siblings, which Atilio eventually won during a challenge of Unidos-entre Sí. In 303AC Atilio was hired by the Regalian Arch Chancellor Andrieu Anahera to be his personal guardsmen, and tasked him with executing Alejandro Anahera and securing the city of Daenshore. Under the guise of reinforcements Atilio and his 4,000 strong army entered the city and met with the Viceroy, exchanging few words with him before impaling him with a sword. He set the palace ablaze and imprisoned traitorous Anaheras for treason. For completing this task and sticking with Andrieu throughout his government takeover, Atilio was declared Grand Duke of Forreista Natal, owning a majority of the south western portion of the archipelago. He was also appointed marshal of the realm, and controlled the armies of the empire. Atilio was known to be the right hand of Andrieu’s doings and was responsible for the deaths of several Kade family members. These titles and formalities would not be held long however, for as the resistance of Andrieu’s reign brought the end of the dictator’s life and restoration of old titles, the majority of these were lost. The family would suffer through the Axford trials and be left with nothing. The family hardly recovered until Atilio was placed on the Regalian City Council and given the county of Alto Barataro. During the Deathling Occupation the family once again suffered with the sudden insanity of Atilio and death of several family members at the hand of their mad leader. He died at the stake on the order of Queen Freya, burnt alive by Basium Lampero, a man Atilio had killed in a similar manner. The family quickly went into seclusion, either far away into Daenshore to live their lives in disgust at the family, or continue to maintain their small holdings in Girobalda and establish connections with the Anahera Cabal and Martinez La Ganga. The family have returned to Regalia as of 308AC to regain the support of the nobility and form political alliances. With such family members as Cesare and Florence making headway in Regalia, there is a clear message of the revival of Daendroque Culture and the House of Amaya is spearheading the rebirth. Amaya Males The male members of the Amaya family tend to have darker skin tones than the woman and more muscular structures. The males’ faces will also have higher cheekbones with green or brown eyes but their noses will be normal size to slightly larger than the morn. The males’ height range usually range from 5’9 to 6’5, with the tallest on record being 6’6. They sport very dark brown hair to black, which can either be straight or in very tight curls. A trend of the men is to grow out their hair into a sort of afro. Amaya Females The female members of the Amaya family generally have quite fit but busty bodies which are accompanied by their honey tanned skin, They also sport very dark brown to black hair which is more often long and curly and tied back into a clip. Their faces consist of higher cheekbones, slightly smaller noses and larger green or brown eyes which are covered in thick, dark lashes. The females are also more often shorter than the average height, ranging from 5’4 to 5’8. A key figure in the Anahera Dictatorship, Atilio left a legacy of misdeeds and heroism. A truly controversial figure, he was burnt at the stake by order of Deathling Queen Freya Lo. Personality Description: Bianca is a mature young woman who strives to make a good name for herself and her family.
