Ha! It will increase and drop in few items, everyone would want to store and keep mules horses and ect for battles, raids and wars! Oh I wish there was an owl for war that would be wonderful but put that last comment aside.I was wandering how people think the economy will change in the next update?
I fell like premiums are always getting the best over non-premiums. I am a good pvper, but the premiums hog the diamond armor, and suddenly they get to make horse armor (which everyone should be able to do) which makes even our horses seem second rate. And i kinda doubt that a premium will be nice enough to give the non prems horse armor... or name tags. If anyone disagrees, please tell me your thoughts.Ha! The prices of horses will go up and even though non premiums cannot craft armour they can still buy the armour from premiums, this will let the premiums have more money in other words.
Good pointThe economy's already ****ed up beyond recognition thanks to fishing so I can't imagine this changing anything.

Yes and that would follow natural economics because there would be a finite about of gold and diamonds in the world and it would have to be gathered where as fishing allows people to draw on a infinite amount. Then again, without fishing, a lot of the diamond and gold in the worlds would be worth even more, as it would need to take time mining to obtain, and the constant issue of the gold being eaten and the diamond getting shattered.

Yes, that is how it's always been, do you think that it should be different? (Please no premium too op in this thread, please.)I fell like premiums are always getting the best over non-premiums.
They are not second rate, you can get just as strong horses, you just have to work for it a bit more.I am a good pvper, but the premiums hog the diamond armor, and suddenly they get to make horse armor (which everyone should be able to do) which makes even our horses seem second rate.
http://forums.massivecraft.com/threads/free-horse-armour-for-non-premiums.7581/#post-66777The search function is there for a reason. And i kinda doubt that a premium will be nice enough to give the non prems horse armor... or name tags. If anyone disagrees, please tell me your thoughts.
Horse armor is not normally craftable, be grateful that massivecraft is allowing anyone at all to be able to craft horse armor.I fell like premiums are always getting the best over non-premiums. Because those are building materials. Horse armor is good for one thing, and one thing only. PvP.Sorry but I hate that excuse. Endstone isn't craftable in normal minecraft too, as well as mossy cobble, yet Massive allows nonpremiums to craft them. Why is horse armor to be any different?
Then how do you explain that you could make horse armor until yesterday, where you mysteriously lost all ability to make any kind of horse armor?
After looking back on my post, you're probably right. I was irrational with that last statement, and this really isn't the thread to start arguing about premiums.
It's gonna be more ****ed after we could fish Horse armor! The economy's already ****ed up beyond recognition thanks to fishing so I can't imagine this changing anything.

That is how you could handle it. Now, apply the same thinking to this situation. If you are a new blacksmith, simply tell him that you do not have the knowledge to craft a diamond armor for a horse. If you previously were premium and crafted it, tell him that you no longer craft it because
1. It's too much work
2. You lost the tools that are needed
3. You promised a friend that you would let him make it.
etc
Blacksmith: Sorry, I can no longer make armor for your wonderful horse because I no longer have the proper permits from Regalia. Then how do you explain that you could make horse armor until yesterday, where you mysteriously lost all ability to make any kind of horse armor?
It's interesting how some make the argument that this is more a RP server and not so much a PvP server, but yet I can only wonder if most of the money being generated by donations comes from PvPers wanting to gain access to diamond armor.
I suppose the counter argument could be made that some RPers are just going to donate anyway or want diamond armor for RPing purposes, but since diamond armor seems to be the main motivator and something that the staff is unwilling to entertain it's removal as a benefit for premium it only make sense that this is focused to appeal more to PvPers than RPers. Yet PvPers seem to be shunned by some in the community (including moderators wanting to change rules to the detriment of PvP activity) I've noticed on a daily basis, weird...
Anyway something to think about.
I'll love the horses. I will deck them out with iron armor. If I get into a faction I applied for then I might make a stable.
Wait, this is a roleplay server right? So why do we need MORE pvp focused gear? In fact, what's the roleplay reason behind this?
Blacksmith: Ho traveler, what do you need me to make for ye!
Traveler: Hullo! I require nothing major, simply a set of iron or diamond armor for my horse here.
Blacksmith: Sorry sir, but I can't do that.
Traveler: Why?
Blacksmith: I just can't, but that breadmaker there can.
Traveler: Wait, how can a breadmaker make armor for my horse, but you can't.
Blacksmith: Because he has a green name.
Fourth wall breaks
That seems like a desperate save. Non premiums should be allowed to craft iron horse armor. It gives them some defence against premiums wearing god armor riding horses plated in diamond armor riding up to a non premium wearing iron armor riding a horse plated in nothing. Yeah. Us premiums just got stupidly god.
:O for cereal?
Fire, you have to admit he has a point

We don't even have any statistics or evidence of how pvp will develop after the release of horses. I don't think anyone can make any realistic predictions yet.
