In secret, her surname became Vadam which was taken from that of her step-father. With the house-work shaken up from the norm; her father Oumano taught her Shambala faith whilst her mother, Kayla educated her in architecture and carpentry. During her late pre-teens up until her early teens, Gwen often came into contact with the occasional footguard that was posted during festivities funded by local Aristocrats or on the pathway between the market and her home. On the occasion Gwen was given reparations for a bad harvest, or so it was believed. This came in food, or tools for her family's work. As she grew more conscious of the world around her, albeit tucked in the nook of some country-side and sea of green canopies, she picked up Sofaal from her father and practiced it heavily with her mother who was not as fluent. Thereafter she was taken toward a small outpost not far from her town and sat down with the captain.
