His eyes are narrow like many who have spent their adult life behind a helmet giving him a morose dour expression ill befitting of his jovial, melodic voice and emotive mannerisms. Spoiler: Weaknesses Weaknesses Piety beyond reproach, Gregor like many of his kin are pious perhaps to an extent would reach the boundaries of excessive. He will forgo activities or actions that would involve him aiding someone outside of the unionist faith short of receiving an edict or command from a ranking member of the faith. Formal, Gregor often uses terminology and jargon found either within the faith or in a broad vocabulary without consideration for those that may struggle to understand his meaning. Harsh, Gregor is not known for his mercy. Spoiler: Relationships Gregor maintains a healthy comradery with his old Chaplain Titus Cretch something which as of current events will become relevant in the Capitol. Life Story Gregorovitch was born in the small tributary town to a local citadel, his father Anatoli was of an officer in the Ohrneti homeland, his mother Anya was a devout maid who tended to the menial needs of the local garrison. The oldest of four he was often required to look after the wellbeing of his siblings due to the time consuming role of his father and his distant demeanor. Spending much of his childhood around the military garrison he took well to the lifestyle, his mother fearing for his future urged the local church to sponsor him for a position in Unionist church, though high in status it was something his father forbade insisting he filled his boots when Anatoli died. On his 9’th nameday his father relented and Gregorovitch was allowed to train to become a Reverend, this experience was not something Gregori took well to his size and dexterity ill suited to painting fine frescos of herons and living off gruel. Despite this he had a knack oration and liturgical drama, through this he was able to scrape the requirements for some time. Nearing 16 news reached him of his father's demise, Anatoli's past had come back to haunt him and he was murdered by a vampire counts thralls during a nighttime raid. Not content to let such an affront go unanswered, filled with grief he set aside his vows and took up the mace. He made his way home stopping only to take what little possessions he had, his father's warhammer and to say goodbye to his mother. The local garrison understanding the young mans grief put a collection together and offered to fund an expedition to Kausis, Gregor accepted this gift vowing to kill the accursed beast that orchestrated such a scheme. Making the journey to Kausis he petitioned the local lord of the region his father had originated from for aide in his quest, stretched thin as it was he refused but an aged Knight by the name of Vykos offered him tutelage to aide in his endeavour. Vykos instructed him in the martial skills necessary to succeed in his vows, teaching him to wield his hammer as his father once had, only then did he learn his father had known Vykos well. The two men had fought in the crusade against the vampires plaguing their homeland, realising that the best way to fight such an abhorrent menace as the voidborne plague Gregor joined the people’s eternal crusade. Seeking not petty vengeance but the eradication of the vampire menace. Gregor spent most of his adult life in pious service to the Unionist church exerting his martial prowess on those who would prey on citizenry in the name of the emperor. Reaching the rank of Brother Sergeant, Gregor became of competent leader of men his knowledge of the faith serving him well in conjunction with his oratory skills. Hearing of a lone Chaplain’s departure to the capitol and thinking back on his own life he felt compelled to join him on his quest to rid the capital of the vile corruption seeping into the very heart of man.
Review! If not among the Unionist Sancella, Gregor would certainly find room among the more controversial and ruthless of the Violet Order's Chapters with his mindset. All in all, a very gruff application I can appreciate. @Loregar Approved!
