    | Proficiencies |
    • Combat Proficiencies
      • 20 Unarmed | 10 Half Orc, 10 Invested
        • Naturally formidable with his bare hands, Gregor possesses fair knowledge and talent surrounding unarmed combat. He often sports gauntlets or dusters, favouring heavy-weight boxer techniques from Graklak, and Sumo-inspired wrestling techniques derived from Lecgaen.
          .
      • 10 Extra Heavy Combat | 10 Invested
        • When it came to pursuing a weapon of choice, Gregor initially thought a long-sword and shield would fit him best. However, in practise, he quickly found simply smacking things with a great big club to be a lot easier. It was also more fun too, and led to him specialising in the use of heavier weapons - eventually becoming impressively proficient over the years. He favours the use of a War Club.
    • Knowledge Proficiencies
      • 4 Parlor Magic | 4 Invested
        • Tethering Spell
As a Half Orc born in the Highlands, Gregor was never too afraid of Magic. Given this spell doesn't even scare normal full blooded Orcs, Gregor was less frightened and more impressed when he witnessed its usefulness in the hands of his Bounty Hunting mentor. As their apprentice, Gregor was eventually enabled to learn the spell, though it took him a fair while to get the hang of it.
          .
      • 10 Hunting | 10 Invested
        • Throughout Gregor's time as a Bounty Hunter's apprentice, he picked up various techniques to track and capture targets. Beyond the use of simple rope and bear-traps, Gregor is capable of using more active tools. These include the likes of the Lasso rope, nets, and Hunting Bolas as well.
    • Body Proficiencies
      • 10 Athletic Training | 10 Half Orc
        • Another natural trait among Half Orcs - if it weren't for his physique and strength, Gregor's high fat would cause him severe health risks. Thanks to fat distribution and diet, Gregor could almost be considered as fairly physically healthy, akin to a Sumo. It is thus because of both his natural body and physical regime that Gregor is not absurdly unhealthy.

    [IMG] Visual Information
    • Overall Aesthetic: Big and Burly: "Almost Sumo"
    • Eye Colour: Dull sage green
    • Hair Colour: Jet black with undertone of copper
    • Hair Style: Unkempt and shaggy; balding
    • Skin Colour: Light-grey olive tone
    • Clothing: Large gambeson coats, sturdy work boots
    • Height: 6 Foot 5 Inches
    • Injuries: Blind in one eye
    • Facial Features -
      • Gregor - due in large part to his weight - has a wide face, framed by a frizzy and often unkempt beard. His thick neck joins at the widest part of his head - the jawline, where his face then curves upwards in an oval fashion to his almost equally wide forehead. His large Roman nose nearly extends to his lips, which are a tad undefined and hidden along with his small Half-Orc tusks beneath his beard. Back up his face, above his almond-shaped eyes are a pair of thick and bushy low-set eyebrows, protruding and casting shadow over his sunken eye sockets.
    • Body -
      • By far Gregor’s most "impressive" feat. He has a low metabolism, and bulked up quickly throughout his life. Gregor stands at a tall 6 foot 5-and-a-bit, and possesses Strongman level strength. In terms of his body build: he is a large, broad-shouldered and burly man. The only thing equalling his muscle is his fat: Gregor displays a large beer-belly and thick arms. If it wasn't for his strength and natural athleticism, Gregor would be extremely unhealthy and at severe risk due to said fat.
    • Fashion -
      • Gregor tends to wear clothing many would consider far above his social class, due to obtaining quite valuable and even ‘fancy’ attire through the raiding of Ithanian trade ships. He favours long gambeson coats, and always wears a variety of bulky belts over a sash and waistcoat, to give off an impression of wealth whilst still maintaining the look of a warrior. In terms of lower body, Gregor wears rather plain trousers which are usually mostly hidden by his coat, along with thick chunky military-esque boots.
    • Voice -
      • Gregor’s voice has a harsh, low tone and he speaks with an odd accent - a mix between Highland and regular Common, which he picked up from his father and mother. His vocabulary is full to the brim with slang and slander, and while he speaks with a loud; clear voice, many could find his pronunciation and choice of words to be odd or hard to understand.

    Personality Information
    • The view of a stranger: As a member of the most hated half-race, it's no surprise most strangers likely view Gregor with inherent distrust. On the surface he can appear dull and easily angered - a large buffoon with a loud and abrasive personality, though this is only partly true. Contact with Gregor does reveal him to be blunt, sarcastic and fairly quick tempered. Though in spite of his shortcomings, Gregor is also realistic, loyal and down-to-earth. The man enjoys toying with people, and normally carries a jovial attitude - often treating situations with less importance than he should. When Gregor breaks character and stops joking around, he becomes incredibly stern and assertive, akin to an angered father.
    • Feel on the inside: The horrible racism Half-Orcs are subject to receiving forced Gregor to emotionally defensive, developing a thick skin and rough exterior to cope with the nigh constant stream of injustice thrown his way throughout his life. It was only through his physical strength and usefulness as a labourer that Gregor was ever shown respect, and he thus prides himself on his size and brawn - deriving his confidence from his toughness. He deflects insults with an aura of humour and banter, mocking and jesting his way through life. Despite his best efforts, it is still true that Gregor is quick tempered, and he often snaps at others with short bursts of anger.
    • Towards those he likes: Those who become friends with Gregor, and are able to deal with his flaws, will find him to actually be quite a decent guy. Sure he gets angry quite fast, and can be a little overbearing sometimes, but he has a nice side to him as near all people do. He’s friendly and playfully nasty - like an older brother of sorts. If people want a conversation with someone who’s straightforward and up for a laugh, Gregor could easily come to mind.
    • Morality: Gregor makes no attempt to hide the fact that he doesn't really care for morals much. Whilst adverse to truly evil actions, he claims violence as merely an act of "business", even if he clearly enjoys fighting and hurting people. Above almost all other things, Gregor values money, trinkets, drugs and drink. He isn't a full on alcoholic, but he's certainly close - buying him a drink is an easy way to gain favour. Overall, he's looking out for number one; selfish and focused on his own needs above others.

    Life Story

    Birth
    • In a rather unlikely setting, from what must have been odd from the outside perspective, a burly Lecgaen fighter sought to marry the tomboy of his dreams - a muscular Orcish woman he met at a Graklak cross-over event.
    • After mere months together, the couple would start a family. They brought forth a young Half-Orc into the world, caring not for what society thought of their child. He was theirs, with his mother's tusks and his father's nose; and together they would raise him: little Gregor.
    Early Life
    • As an only child, Gregor enjoys his child-hood years with full attention from his parents. Despite being mere peasants, his family are able to care for him, and he is afforded a relatively comfortable upbringing. The Highlands of Gallovia are known in part for their acceptance of other races, though Half Orcs were still among the most despised half-races in all of Aloria. He faced some expected racism, though not nearly as much as he would have outside of the Highlands.
    • His mother and father were both teachers, of Graklak and Lecgaen respectively. The two worked at a nearby gym / training temple of sorts: Unionists, who in Highland fashion would pray to the great spirit when they wrestled. Gregor was fascinated by this, and was raised to be a Unionist himself - though he never truly stuck to their values, as they conflicted with his desires far too frequently.
    • Gregor would sit at the side of the gym watching his father teach. He also played games with the other kids - often getting in trouble for being slightly violent towards those that teased him.
    Teenage Life
    • During his teenage years, Gregor participated in many of the classes at their local Gallovian academy for Lecgaen. He was aided greatly by his natural physique and metabolism of course. The fact he got to win made him happy, and by extension caused him to enjoy fighting. It stroked his ego, which was kept in check only by his parents.
    • As he began to grow more and bulk up, Gregor also took up work as a labourer in his village, carrying heavy equipment, sacks, and pulling carts. Soon enough, he had a reputation as a hard worker and was able to find work wherever he looked for it. Sadly such manual labour proved boring to Gregor. He longed to do something more exciting; more engaging and less routine.
    Adult Life
    • Gregor, now a fully matured adult, began to shift his career away from tasks that bored him so greatly. He instead sought work as a bouncer for the town pub, and eventually joined a wandering band of Mercenaries later the same year. He stuck with them for a while, learning how to properly use a weapon: he first tried to grasp that which his fellow mercenaries so typically used, such as the shield and longsword, though after finding it initially difficult, he quickly gave them up and opted instead to use a big club.
    • He had much more luck with the large and heavy weapons, and began to develop true skill with them as more years went on: he proved a violent man, driven namely by profit and boredom. He began to take on bounty hunting work on the side, under a far more experienced specialist in his mercenary band.
    • Prey were caught with all manner of traps and ambush - though Gregor preferred the most direct approaches possible. He went on to learn a spell his mentor often employed during bounty hunts on targets wanted alive: that of "Tethering", which initially fascinated him. Though when it proved difficult at first, he instead opted to learn how to properly hurl Bolas. He would return to learning the Parlour Magic later in life, taking longer than most to finally grasp the basic spell.
    Recent Life
    • Gregor left his mercenary band to focus more on his own freelance bounty-hunting work, finding it more profitable in the short term. His most recent hunt took him south, away from the Highlands and all the way to Regalia itself.
    • Gregor seeks employment and work within the city, hoping to sustain himself both financially and mentally with whatever he can to keep occupied and engaged.

I would remove parlor magic for now.

These are actually covered mostly by the hunting proficiency! Given he was a bounty hunter I'd recommend adding it!

    Otherwise everything checks out!

Awh- would it be okay if I kept it in? From what I've heard in the discord help chat, most people are saying that both Valuur and Half Orcs have no innate fear of magic. This, coupled with the fact that Tethering doesn't even scare full blooded Orcs, makes me want to ask if you wouldn't mind allowing this to stay - as I don't think it's breaking any rules.

I believe I've given an okay backstory reason for the character to have the spell / want to learn the spell, and I also intend to ICly use the spell to help facilitate "Wanted Alive" Bounty Hunting RP.

Ah my bad - thanks for letting me know. I'll switch them over in that case :)
