General Norrvakt's Imperial State Army

The Norrvakt Retinue is the backbone of the Imperial State Army headed by General Thorvald Norrvakt. The Retinue consists of top of the line tacticians, battlefield veterans, and scholars all dedicated to providing the State Army with invaluable council to succeed in war. Each member has an opportunity to outshine each other, and even the ability to outshine the General himself to gain prestige and respect within the Military Community and the Imperial Marshal Cabinet.

Below are two positions which are in demand, the higher position being the Frontline Advisor and the lesser being a mix of tacticians and other advisors.


Frontline Advisor

• +15 Frontline Combat Skill (minimum)
• Male Ailor
• 35 years of age (minimum)

Tactician/Advisor

Below are some options for being a Tactician or Advisor for the Thorvald State Army, note that you do not have to possess all of the traits listed, but you are required to possess a minimum of 2 from the below list to even be considered.

• +15 Frontline Combat Skill or +15 Marshal Knowledge
• Human race or Altalar (Ailor, Sihai, Dwarf, Qadir, Songaskia, Altalar)
• +15 Siege Combat Skill
• A member of a Knightly School
• Magical Knowledge with points in Racialism Info (No other categories will be accepted)
• Ailor Nobility of any status (Untitled,Baron, Count, Duke)
• Member of the Officer Corps
• Member of the Skagger Order
  
• Veteran of a previous Regalian War (Meaning you were signed up and partook in a progression for the Army)

Application:

Simply write an IC letter to General Norrvakt explaining what position you are applying for, why you are applying, and which of the above list of traits apply to you. This is required for applicants of both positions. You may post your letter on this thread or in PM's to @Wumpatron

An approved character application will be required in order to be involved in progression orders and is mandatory for all applicants of the Frontline Advisor position.

Final Notes:

There is a strict adherence to Military Conduct as well as adhering to Honneurs Law regardless of noble status or not. As a member of this Retinue there an image to be upheld, adhering to that image and following all rules will result in character growth and prestige, failure in following the rules will result in punishments including and leading up to being fired from the Imperial State Army, being ridiculed and reprimanded by the military, and court marshals. This is an opt in form of role play, if you are afraid of failing expectations, then I would discourage you from applying, but this is to be a fun and enriching experience for everyone involved should you be up to the challenge.
