This is no form of advertising but rather a effictive way to inform you all of our situation!

As it will be clearly proclaimed this player/faction founded a vendetta against us. We stood up to protect the fabric that makes our group in real life - Please help us protect it on massive.

This is quite potentially the most self destructive and unproductive method for applying for an unban I have ever seen.

I've never heard of your guild, and I don't know who any of you are...

But isn't there a section in the forums meant for ban appeals? Why are you posting here?
 
i don't know i'm posting mine there but im not sure if there going to unban me or not

We where banned about a month ago.

You had better chances just making an appeal. It's not go hard or go home, it's be sensible or not sensible. Like. This seems a bit more for attention, when in the rules it states you shouldn't talk of bans outside of appeals.
 
If I may add we have also made appeals. And on the topic of sensible or not, I wont expect you ever to learn the path we have chosen - We have chosen to go against the common theme and if you have a problem with this I incur you revise your own steps before you judge ours.

You claim to be taking things up a notch.... "go hard or go home", "felt we had to do more.", "I hope we have set a new standard for ban appeals".

However, it doesn't seem that way to me. I'm not familiar with too many ban appeals, but it doesn't seem as if you have done anything out of the ordinary. Your "website" is nothing more than just your appeal with the paragraph that one would expect you to post on an appeal. It seems ban appeals are something of a more private and individualized post, so it seems to me like the only thing you've really done here in regards to 'going hard or going home', is make a fuss, and post a ban appeal publicly rather than privately.
 
that poll isn't about attention its about what people that are looking at this topic think its less for you and more for us knowing that people would welcome us back if we got unbanned as for the website we also think it is over the top it was made in a fit of rage when we got banned
we also felt that using a website rather then a forum post would firstly got your attention and in doing so speed up the unban secondly we feel like it was also a beater way to get info out about the situation we were in when we got banned. onece again this is not about attention we just want our voice heard. the poll also has no effect on the unban the unaban is for u to think about make a your choice regardless of what other players think.

If you where actually paying attention , We have made private appeals. I don't believe we have met in game, Which give you no authority to make an estimate off this post. If you have no experience in ban appeals, I suggest you do you research and find a group that has gone to lengths as ours furthermore, The purpose of this post was to educate the massive community to shelter our side of an argument that was probably not correctly heard.

  • Your group didn't do much. You basically put a ban appeal on a website.
  • The Massive Community has no say on ban appeals, so basically this just gives you attention.
Yeeeeah. This really didn't differ from a ban appeal at all. ^^;
 
Our path is solidified and you fail to see the reasoning - Everything you just said agrees with us or has already been dissected.

So again revise your steps XD

Thanks for taking the time to respond, I suppose.

1. We haven't met in game. I am unfamiliar with the circumstances of your ban, nor do I care. However the general display you have shown here with this whole crapshot of some sort of social movement seems somewhat immature and as Monmarty said, unproductive. I don't need to know you or the circumstances of your ban to comment on that.

2. I have no experience in *making* ban appeals, because I know how to follow rules and not generally make a fool of myself. The "lengths" you have taken seem to be detrimental to your ban appeal process. You claim to have made private appeals, and that really seems to be the only thing necessary.

3. I'm going to leave this argument now, because this is not my dispute, I just wanted to provide my two cents. I wish you the best of luck in getting unbanned, provided you are willing to put the correct and appropriate work into it, however I believe that if you truly wish to get unbanned, you should cease this attention grab because it is counterproductive to your own goals.

Once again, good luck, and I do hope you take my advice.
 
As we have said we accept that this may not be the most productive but it was what we have done, furthermore we have clearly stat this threads goal and it is unrelated to your claim.
