For Those Who Missed The Stream: Avarr

Would it be a good idea if there was a line of Avarrs the head sacrifice leaders or something that still has wings called the Phoenix or something.

Meh. I particularly like these ones as they are. Maybe their leaders would have larger feathers around their head or something like that.

That makes no sense, you can't inherit things that were acquired after birth. It goes against the laws of science. That's like a child inheriting their parents scar from when they cut their leg on something.

Please, and this is to everyone, please stop answering the poor kids post. There are lots of people who don't fully understand evolution (it's not the easiest concept either, for that matter, not if you don't know about it). It was an easy enough mistake, and could be taken to the following:

"Because the orcish race hunted the mighty Avarr for the feathers on their wings (they used the feathers in their dreamcatchers, headsets, and arrows. Mostly the arrows) the Avarr with wings lived shorter lives and had less children. It is also thought that those Avarr that weren't killed outright often had their wings broken by the Orcish hoards for pleasure and entertainment (Orcs are a brutal race). Eventually, thanks to the orcish hunting, the Avarr not only lost their wings entirely, but gained a larger, sturdier body. That is due to only larger, stronger, bulkier, and wingless Avarr being able to survive the hunting by the orcs, and also explains why they loath the orcs so much and sacrifice them to their sun god - they are trying to get their wings back by wiping out the orcish race. It is also theorized that their intellgence evolved to combat the hunting by orcs - only the smartest survived." - Book of Evolution, by the later burned for being a witch 'Darwin Galligos'.

To clarify, this is an actual thing - because human poachers wipe out about 5-10% of the elephant population for the ivory in their tusks each year only the tusk-less elephants are surviving to have young, leading to populations of tusk-less elephants across Africa (Bush and Forest Elephant) and Asia (Indian Elephant). As such, this is considered to be a viable evolutionary drive - hunting for a specific trait makes the trait disappear.

couldn't have been explained better or could it ??? D:

Fair enough. I hadn't seen the other posts when I had made mine.

I... cannot... wait. HNNNG. Thank you so much for having an idea such as this! When will they be released? ;w;

Ummmm.... So these bird guys. They gona like humans at all? Because if they don't, that could be very interesting.
yes, Avarr LOVE humans, they go great with a nice salad and a bit of seasoning >:)
wonder how long it will take these birds to completely destroy the orc race >:D BUAHAHAHA YOU IS DOOMED!!!
I give it 6-8 weeks, after-all, they aren't workaholics, and the sun gods only really need 1 sacrifice a day. As well as day is their time of terror ;)
I find it strange how everyone thinks that orcs are the big mainstream killers hate elves and that
Then these THINGS come along and are sitting got them up in big shrines stabbing stone daggers into their chest ripping out their entrails and just acting like orcs are as puny as elves
wait, Orcs aren't as puny as Elves?! your kidding, right? I thought they were ...
prepare for a wave of noobs playing as avarr and flying everywhere
They don't fly, no wingalings to be had.

I have a fortress. I have a bow. I have two swords. I have me. The Avarr are entirely outmatched.
That said, you could always leave it in my mailbox in Regalia...
... The scurry man lives in Regalia too? -lolnups her way out of there- ... I don't know which one to be scared of more- Cruall the scary elf man, or the Avarrs... o_o"

is it the power to be a tasty elf man?! or maybe even the forgotten magic of self-seasoning! :^)

No, it is something along the lines of the power to put an arrow in between the eyes of Avarr and out the back of the head at half a kilometer, assuming he is not moving. If he is, then shorten it to 400 feet, or so.

I would totally make a character just to go 'Kali-ma!, KALI-MA!!!" a bunch of times. :3 also, I wonder if they're allowed yet. I don't even know how someone would RP unless they made a faction based around it, or whatever. No Regalia tavern RP for you! :I

Looks like it's time to break out my hunter char and his sniper ballista.
