House Rote halved their income, dedicating the wood and ship production instead supplying the Imperial capital city with wooden supplies for whatever the locals deemed them fitting. This essentially meant that the Regalian docksides were now filled with unclaimed crates of wood and timbercraft and carpentry supplies. House von Duerr meanwhile spends 10,000 Regals in an attempt to sway Duerrstein into a Medical focus. While this does result in some increased medical focus in the regions visited, the amount required to sway en entire region into a different industry would be far more, though von Duerrstein's economic gain does rise from the venture.

House Reinard joins the Rourke Barons in the war against Yates-Varley and Harhold, purchasing 6,000 troops from House Typhonus, and immediately putting them to use torching Yates-Varley properties and slaughtering their cattle herds (Yates-Varley's own Schutters outnumbered 4:1, choosing not to defend the properties and die in the process), while the local authorities turn a blind eye. Only the Emperor's supply cattle is unaffected. Though Reinard even tries to prevent the financial gain from the Emperor's supply from reaching Yates-Varley banks, Imperial representatives make short work of their attempts, safeguarding the income from these herds at the least. House Reinard is furthermore joined by Garszek A Nuszá`rok and Torcath Saffaen Ucida who both supply 300 of their own Szabadok and Avanthar mercenaries each, harassing the Harhold supply lines in Vlissinghelm, reducing their combat effectiveness. House Reinard furthermore publishes anti Yates-Varley propaganda across Dragenthal, though this last step remains ineffective due to a lack of budget.

House von Drachenburg sends 12,000 Regals to the imperial city for supplies, money that is gate-kept by the bureaucracy until the Government has decided how to accept donations. Furthermore, House Drachenburg donates 10,000 Regals to the Synod. House Slumberwood meanwhile purchases 10,000 Regals worth of grain supplies to store in their own yards, while investing 25,000 Regals into an economic investment, yielding profit income. House Delmotte attempted to spend 20,000 Regals to purchase new levies from House Typhonus, but the money simply disappears without any troops arriving, since House Typhonus never issued a donation of troops to Delmotte. Delmotte further also spends 30,000 Regals on an economic investment on The Veer, but the investment is bounced by the locals who say they are internalized in their attempts to resolve the leadership issue, and have as such closed the borders to the Veer entirely to foreigners.

The Synod passes out alms and medical supplies in the city, spending 10,000 Regals on supplies. Furthermore, they donate 10,000 Regals to house Yates-Varley for service to the faith, and spend another 5,000 Regals on a Demishot Puretek weapon from the Guilds of Belliard. For their continued support, the Guilds of Belliard proclaim Thibaut du Pont an honorary member, and grace him with a white Calemberger horse, a sign of his purity.

House Yaotl sways their diplomatic powers to positively impact House Black's relation among the locals of Worthing, increasing political stability. An investment is also made towards Calderliga merchants, improving the commerce income of Yaotl's realm. House Typhonus gifts 8,000 troops to the West-Rourke Baronlands to assist in their war against Harhold, attempting to improve the influence of House Typhonus in the region. Another 6,000 troops are gifted to House Reinard, who make their due payments in return for the soldiers. House Typhonus invests another 5,000 Regals in pre-emptive winter supplies, before using a total of 70,000 Regals pressing in 14,000 new troops.

Jared Kade, the Secretary of the Faith attempts to use his meagerly Kade budget and nonexistent Faith Secretary budget (since there is no Finance Minister to afford him any money) to build an intelligence network in the Isldar occupied lands. With the lacking funds however, this venture utterly fails. House Avalorn meanwhile sends a shipment of 20,000 Regals to House Delmotte.

House Fristadvlom hosts a charity ball, overnight festival and a summons and assembly in their fresh new realm, seeking the support of their people. The Baroness receives the necessary homages, and a simple request from the locals: "Defend our independence against Zastorzy, Typhonus and especially Viduggla. We want to remain independent". With that request, the people pledge their allegiance.

House du Briërust spends efforts to perform a last-ditch negotiation with the Darkwald Knights and the people of Tirgunn to stave off rebellion. Soldiers are prepared, and a last attempt to offer a good-faith agreement is made by offering up the Duke's first born to the Darkwald Knights as an effective hostage to secure their support. The Darkwalds surprisingly agree to this, but only on the following conditions: They will only accept a male, and only if they will be given agency to raise the child in a good faith and Darkwald manner they seem fit. They also insist that if the Duchess were to give birth to a daughter, that is fine, but that she should keep trying. They close off the message that if the Duchess does not show signs of pregnancy, or the Duke has not produced some sort of legitimized pregnancy elsewhere by the thawing of snow come next year's spring, Tirgunn will declare open rebellion against House du Briërust.

House Peirgarten spends 10,000 Regals to secure more political support among their people, succeeding to a degree. The Duchess furethermore travels to Atolia to negotiate with the Atolian Viscount, who indicates that an acceptable slavery agreement for him would "Contain an arrangement in which Half-Orcs can once more be enslaved if they were born in slavery, a law was put in place that prevented this when the Iron Duke became the leader of Vultaro", leading one to conclude that such an agreement would mightily annoy the Iron Duke in return who is a Half-Orc himself and was once also a slave to Ithanians. The Atolians have made a business model on enslaving Orc females from outside the Empire and using them to produce half-Orcs born in slavery. There might be other solutions, but this is their preferred outcome.

As Chancellor furthermore, the Lorhauser Duchess creates a new law that dictates that not paying the mandatory 20% tax is against the law, and that anyone breaking this law will have their estates confiscated. Not obeying the state tax after confiscation would furthermore result in embargoing and cutting off of trade. The Chancellor then redirects the donations to the OCM and the Commons Ministry, all of which increases the bureaucratic cost of the state slightly.

As mentioned before, House Typhonus bolstered the Rourke army with another 8,000 troops, boosting their numbers up to 49,000, pitching them against the 47,000 Harhold and 8,000 Yates-Varley mercenaries (total of 55,000), though these have their supply lines severely hampered while Reinard is also pillaging Yates-Varley's economic capacity.

House Viduggla mobilizes its personal army (15,000), sailing south into Dragenthal while linking up with House Black's fleet. House Black equally mobilizes its army, while summoning levies from the people, positioning them ready and poised to invade House Harhold's lands by the borders, totalling 25,000. House Black's fleet establishes a blockade on the Harhold shore, while the Viduggla ship establishes a blockade on Yates-Varley sales from the great river, as Svante Viduggla is made Admiral of the fleet. Ardige Viduggla leads the Viduggla soldiers, landing on the Harhold east-coast, landing to attack his week-ago-colleague of the Marshal cabinet. The Viduggla army pillages the lands, destroying farms and industries, but spares cities and port towns as well as all Unionist buildings. Because of the Harhold levies and armies chasing after the Rourke army, the Viduggla force pillages freely in the Harhold lands, causing a surge of refugees to move further west, buckling the Harhold economy. House Black sends another 20,000 Regals to the Rourke Barons to help with their supplies and to improve their economy as damaged by Harhold.

House Viduggla and Black make a joint statement: "Hengest Harhold will not be allowed expansion of influence further in the realm, and House Viduggla and Black have taken measures to dissuade unjustly declared wars. Furthermore, House Viduggla never signed a peace treaty to formally end the war between Viduggla and Harhold, claiming that Viduggla is still fighting a defensive war that Harhold started by invading Norrland unannounced and undeclared." The Viduggla forces furthermore take great care to avoid making unnecessary unionist casualties, or give any cause for the Synod to claim them vile invaders, walking around monasteries and holy sites.

Harhold and Yates-Varley press their 55,000 troops forward, but can only land a single attack on the Rourke army, re-invigorated by House Black supplies, Typhonus troops, while having their backline constantly harassed by mercenary forces, and their economies trashed by other armies invading. With the knowledge of a 40,000 Black-Viduggla army busy ravaging their backlines, the battle against the Rourke Barons is lost, but left largely in a tactical stalemate as neither armies really push their luck for larger casualties.

Finally, House Viduggla lifts the embargo of Peirgarten goods, slightly improving their economy, while also looting cow herds from Vlissinghelm, symbolically sending cattle herds back to Lorhauser that were looted from Lorhauser by House Harhold more than a year ago when they were invaded by House du Pont to "Make up for any damage their embargo might have incurred".

With armies two to one on two sides, economic embargoes, impending discipline from the central state, and declining odds, the barons in Harhold's lands, as well as Yates-Varley's business associates are asking that they reconsider their war prospects, as going into minus on the balance sheet would send the nation(s) into a downward spiral from which recovery would become harder the longer it is pushed out.
