When Firavel got old enough to understand things a bit more and saw the way his family struggled, he picked up pickpocketing to try and help the family by trying to pickpocket those who seemed to have much more than his family did, this often resulting into fights which eventually through trial and error taught Firavel fist combat and eventually dagger combat as he stole a dagger, his 'job' also gave him pretty good ability to keep an eye on his surroundings aswell as silence his steps more. Eventually both of the twins parents left to find ways to help the family. When the father returned, he taught Firavel and his sister sword combat, the two often sparring eachother and it became a fond memory for the twins. When the twins grew up and his sister left home, Firavel felt quite sad about it and it didn't really help that the father would only temporarily come home and return to the military. Firavel would stay near their home so he wouldn't miss the letters sent by his sister and eventually he met a mentor and majority of his freetime would go to studying and training, the cost of the mentor's lessons would be that he helped out his mentor when it came to chores and errands. He eventually went to look for his sister when he didn't get any more letters.. eventually coming up to Regalia
