I just discovered this neat crafting overhaul plugin. It makes crafting a lot more intuitive.

Description from the Spigot page:
FastCraft+ redefines crafting in Minecraft. This plugin is the successor to FastCraft, rewritten from the ground up.

With FastCraft+, users will have a faster method of crafting available to them. When a crafting table is opened, instead of the usual 3x3 crafting grid, the player will be shown the FastCraft+ user interface. Within the interface, players will be shown all of the items that can be crafted from the items within their inventory. To craft an item, all a user has to do is click on an item in the FastCraft+ interface, and the item will be crafted automatically.

just put the damn sticks on the table it's not that hard

Damn why so hostile? Anyhow, it doesn't matter if its hard or not, its just a suggestion for a cool new feature.

Ya.. i have to agree with @Gabauchi here... this seems very redundant.

How is it redundant? It shows every item you can craft with the items you have in your inventory. Its very useful for someone that does a lot of crafting.

I just dont see any point to it. Because when i go to craft something i already know what i need and how to make it... If i need a diamond pickaxe why do i need to know that my materials can make a shovel too?

It doesn't just show you which materials you can make. It lets you instantly craft an item just by clicking once. I've been using it on another server for a while and it really sped up crafting.

The 'point' is that though it isn't something that is absolutely needed, its still a nice feature that I think a lot of people could have some use for.

This is basically the same thing as jei. While I would prefer Just enough items over this mod, there is a simple command that could be enabled called /recipe {ItemName} While both mods speed up the process, there's really nothing to race. So why add it?

Enkiduu beat me to it. 1.12 will do all of this plus more with the crafting system overhaul. I would rather have massive implement that 1.12 feature instead of a plugin that may not be maintained later on in its lifetime.

Ok, my point wasn't that /recipe is better, but that we don't need FastCraft. I agree that the 1.12 feature would be better, but if any mod should be added to the allowed mods list at all it should be jei.
DO NOT MISINTERPRET THE AT ALL!!

I think there's already a similar feature in the upcoming 1.12 update: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Recipe_book

Hmm cool then.

Just enough items is a mod as in client side... This is a plugin, as in server side.

You misunderstood the at all. If any mod should be added at all, it should be jei not fastcraft. Because fastcraft and jei can both be cilent side. Why would you think I don't know /recipe is a plugin? /recipe is for looking up any item's crafting recipe without having to use the internet.
Basically what I said with this

was that we do not need fastcraft because the 1.12 feature is going to be better. But if we do need any mod at all to be added to the allowed mods list it should be jei because it offers more than fastcraft as far as I know.
