Idk. I really think it would be neat if there was a factions world without dynmap, because it would make ANY sort of interactions with other factions more focused. I mean, if you only knew where three other factions were compared to you, you would probably either ally or constantly attack them. I mentioned this in an official staff-prompted discussion and they seemed to agree that it might be a good thing to try.Factions need a proper goal and aim, the sense of "ow god this is our land we need to protect it" is lost
I agree, I know this idea has worked on other faction servers and worked extremely well, it would add some added mystic and curiosity!Idk. I think Fara'dheen might be coming out.Didn't we get a hint of a new world coming out like early last year??
Farah'deen was killed and basically just butchered to use for kit pvp, don't think it'll ever come out as a full survival world. There's another one marty was working on that he's talking about.I think Fara'dheen might be coming out.
If there was a way to promote players to be more active, and interact with other factions more, that would help a lot. Similarly, if there was something encouraging deeper interactions other than just "raid, tribute, rinse, repeat", it would also help, and possibly even draw some roleplayers.
We already have too many factions worlds as it is. Makes everyone and everything feel less connected in game and sure doesn't help server lag.Didn't we get a hint of a new world coming out like early last year??
Far as lag goes, worlds don't really affect much other than harddrive space. At this point I think the problem with having too much space is too big to ever really be solved without removing worlds, so as far as I'm concerned it's not going to hurt to add worlds just to have something new.We already have too many factions worlds as it is. Delete Regalia for more harddrive spaceFar as lag goes, worlds don't really affect much other than harddrive space. Excellent idea!!
This looks really cool! It'll be interesting to see if factions incorporate this in them at all.https://forums.massivecraft.com/threads/new-survival-quest-the-plague-of-zzarlo.59617/
Feedback on this would be great. I consider it another step towards connecting Roleplay with Factions.
Tbf doubt they would incorporate itThis looks really cool! It'll be interesting to see if factions incorporate this in them at all.
What would it take for factions to start noticing these things and feeling that there the factions world has a storyline as well? This quest is a trial and a first step, if more quests like these were periodically added based on roleplay events, would this get factions interested in what goes on in roleplay? Since the theme of the quest decides the rewards, would faction players become interested in roleplay just so they could decide the type of quest and reward they'd receive?
That's a really interesting idea. Thinking about it, it would in theory also convince Factions players much more to interact with the lore, since they'd be having a part in it by questing(Which I imagine they'll be doing.)Or what if Factions had their own storyline or lore that they can choose for themselves? Instead of following Regalia, Factions have their own storyline. Quests will have choices in the end and the plot progresses based on which choice the majority of players choose, which would of course decide future rewards again as well.
Love the idea! This is amazing! I NEED to try it out! so exited... wow!https://forums.massivecraft.com/threads/new-survival-quest-the-plague-of-zzarlo.59617/

Also, check out my post in the features & Ideas section. Its really just an optional diplomacy reward for CoK factions, allowing them to be involved in Regalian politics and, more importantly, for roleplayers to have an effect on factions and the CoK event. What would it take for factions to start noticing these things and feeling that there the factions world has a storyline as well? I'd love to see a sort of multi-faction meeting.I enjoy writing lore for my faction. I'm currently trying to recruit more rpers to start an inclusive, inter-faction roleplay scene, in our raid proof village, to go alongside the PvP my faction used to engage in. I just wish it would more seamlessly blend into regalia and with other factions (like having diplomatic or UN-like meetings).
