In a large faction with active members, say, Tyberia, do you ever feel like the management is constrained by how many faction ranks there are? If you want a deacon to outrank a cardinal, it wouldn't be possible, and both would have the same perms and the same perms as a pope? What I am proposing is a /f government modify, which would bring up an interface with the following areas: Add new official, change ranking, change naming, delete official, bring up new government branch. This would allow for more ranks in the faction, so that each rank could have its own separate permissions and spheres of authority. The last area would set another tab to the interface, so that the church, military, and state could all be separate. This could be used for RP factions and survival factions, and players in Regalia might create their own factions for certain parts of society, and use this ranking system to clearly define who is what rank and also create a more united RP atmosphere. The benefits in the survival side of the survival is that it would allow trusted members the chance to have more authority, a way to possibly work in Rp-type struggles into the upper classes, a way to have elected officials, and give members more freedom. This idea may be constrained by the current amount of tech staff and their schedule, but it's something to keep in mind.
