Lothar/ Ungwele are known to get tattoos as sign of promise, devotion, - various reason but they are usually meant to be significant and emotionally important things... Lithiel hadn't felt she experianced anything to warrent gaining any markings yet.
And then she was dragged to the Azure Tower when they found a counterfit collar on her neck-( one she was told was a real one, she recieved it at the gaurdsmen tower, so she had no idea!) where she recieved her very first tatoos...- whether she wanted them or not.
What was supposed to be a moment of honor and promise- was now a sign of enslavement, torture and attempted brain washing to hate the very things she holds dear. There was nothing encouraging about the seal on her neck which she must look at everyday from now on.
No amount of washing herself will scrub the dark feelings they've put on and in her.

I blame you! I keep forgetting to draw Lith with her collar or tatoos and your art made me really think about what ti must've bene like for her.
Also not sure about the length of the tatoo, as some descriptions say it entails the Name of the Sentinel who handled them, the date, their magic type ect- while in some descriptions it simply says 4 digits soooooo...meh, mind the intricate band of rune/letterings.

Dude this was before she came to the suface XD She was taken by a gang of people and lived below for a while. "this" was kinda like.. er...'family' time >w>
