He was to later be known as the oldest out of his six siblings. His father took him under his wing at this time, teaching him how to use rapiers and the Braggan language. His mother occasionally taught him other things such as Clockwork sciences and the Qadir’s home language. Around the earliest time possible, his family enrolled young Erasmo into school. This way, he could learn languages, cultures, and things around him. His bonding between his friends and family could be seen during this time- and those who noticed would realize that Erasmo was quite a social child. This would follow him for the rest of his life. When he was around the age of 11, all of his remaining siblings had been born by this time. His childhood friends of the Qússrakón culture began showing him horses, and the ones that they had grown up with. His friends even ended up teaching him how to care for the horses, but Erasmo had already gathered some husbandry knowledge from his mother and the Asha’s elephants. Another thing he ended up picking up from his father was sailing. He caught on to the technique pretty quickly, and enjoyed the thrill from the oceans and places he could go. Teenage Years - Young Adult Years In his teenage years, his father began to push it onto him more than ever that he was to become Patriarch of the house one day, and that meant that Erasmo needed to start taking on responsibilities. At the age of nineteen, his closest sister Catarina passed away from Yazzak’s Disease at a young age. It left the family destroyed and broken for some time, as they were a very closely knit family, but Erasmo eventually pushed through. Although his family was apart of a wealthy merchant class, and his father had built his reputation from the ground up, Erasmo began to stray as he grew older. Around the age of 19 he was baited into a pirate crew. His love of sailing got the best of him, and this spiraled out into a full on bad decision. He kept this life secret from his family, being a pirate in private and when no one else was around. Around the age of twenty-one, while on a trip to Clannadh Alba with the crew, and taking a break to get a drink at a local tavern and whatnot, he came into contact with a young girl named Anobel MacCardaidh. The girl proved to be quite annoying at first but eventually he came to find her endearing. The two fell in love, and he convinced her to come with him, and run away from her home. Which she did, and freaked out smidge when she found he was a pirate. Adult Years Anobel from there on stayed near Erasmo for guidance and their relationship which continued to blossom into a beautiful young love. He ended up taking her home to his family. With a girl to later become his wife, his father stepped down, and made Erasmo patriarch of House Ramalho. Now, on a quest to find better things for his family, but also continue his life as a pirate with his love, Erasmo moves to Regalia with Anobel, hoping to create a crew of some sort with time.
