From the most primitive state, this guild is primarily a swordsman training for those new and old. Seeking to learn, or eager to find a group of sparing brothers? Well, look no further, for this is the Regalian Swordsman Guild, built for teaching, and training those who are fascinated with the blade. Frequently holding tournaments or feasts the guild is known for its fraternity-style representation whilst still upholding some basic rules to ensure safety and security amongst peers. From an OOC standpoint, this organization was crafted to help entice characters who aren't familiar with weaponry (ex. Doctors, alchemists, artists) and train to learn some self-defense, which no oath goes against and expand the CRP for more experienced players who want to put their proficiencies to the test against others. Overview
- For characters that want to join a knightly-styled fraternity, to learn and spar.
- For characters that want to further use their proficiencies outside of guard work, or common brawls.
- For players who want to experience, or begin to learn Combat Roleplay through a safe environment.
- For players who want to ease up in roleplay, get away from politics to have some brotherhood RP
- For players who want to get into debates about progressions within Aloria, wars and militaristic ideals in general.
II - The Training
Training will be rostered based on initial skill, which will be sorted out for each person based on a sort of 'initiation' showdown to assert their place within the system, the better you are the more skilled people you face. Challenges and even tournaments will be put in place after these extended sessions of training. Usually, the Fangs Throng fighting pit is the main location for all meet-ups for these lax fights and teaching sessions though it may change based on the crowd and whatnot. Training may also include weight lifting, or sometimes nothing at all except feasting and other festivities on rare occasion. Though, one thing is certain is that only swords are allowed within the organization- axes, war picks, flails, halberds, and whatever else is outlawed from the guild for the main reason of the owner being a strict knight of the Villiers-Eclaire order.
Overview
- Training will be short sessions of one-verse-one
- Training partners will be selected within a roster, if you're learning those higher-ups may be required to spend a day out of their training to tutor those interested.
- Initiation is a showdown against someone willing, from any rank of experience to test the ability of the newcomers.
- Training may frequently include weight-lifting or other means of exercise, but usually all done together in a brother-hood like manner.
- Training will consist of only swords, nothing else.
III - The Requirements
The requirements to join are somewhat simple, you must be Ailor of somekind- though there has been known exceptions for those who're favoured by the owner. You must be able to compete in general, no missing-limbs or what have you. Lastly, you must be Unionist given the owners training, and extreme pious nature, though it is noted that those of Oldt Fayth nature have been able to join without much questioning. After you've checked out, you're as good as gold to apply for the orginization.
IV - Terms and Conditions
The conditions of the orginization are very simple and can be found listed down below in a bulleted list of IC and OOC rules that must be followed in order to thrive within the guild.
- Characters must be able to dedicate a little of their time to the orginization, of activity is a big issue that do not apply.
- Characters must be able to reside themselves from attempting to kill, or maim other players non-consentively.
- Players must understand the rules of MassiveCraft roleplay before applying.
- Players must not be toxic toward one-another, or anyone for that matter.
- Players must agree to try and help those who may not fully understand emoting, and all that. I mean this is made for teaching as well.
- Have a good nature, common sense about you.
