Personality and Abilities (Required)

• First Paragraph: Polite, a little bit self-righteous. Some find her frightening, due to the glowing green eyes. She’s pretty charitable and giving. Honorable… almost to a fault. She'd rather have actual physical harm come to her than forsake her moral code. However, she’s reluctant to lash out at anyone-- even those who might deserve it. She speaks in quick bursts, and has an air of constant activity, on good days. On bad ones, she’s testy, snippy, and sometimes lethargic. And yeah, she gets hangry.
  
  
• Second Paragraph: Worried. She’s a little unhappy right now, and a flurry of unpleasant thoughts are echoing in her skull. She thinks she’s a good person and takes pride in that, but knows at the same time that she’s a filthy Aberrant. She feels kind of worthless, and is searching for meaning, sometimes in questionable places. Her heart is in the right place, but her behavior isn't always.
  
  
• Third Paragraph: She acts protective and needy and honestly kind of possessive. She’s got a natural warmth that devolves into something a little darker. She still speaks in those jarred bursts, though they tend to be longer bursts. In her more meaningful relationships, she’s earnest-- partly because she’s a terrible liar.
  
  
• Fourth Paragraph: She believes in doing the “right” and “good” thing as informed by her religion and experience. She believes in being kind to her fellow humans, but also doesn’t entirely trust them. As she has said, “I don’t hate anyone, unless they’ve done something to deserve it.” She does, however, have the typical Regalian prejudice against the “other”: other races, other sexualities, and other Abberrants.

Life Story (Required)

• 287: Elsin is born on the Ithanian-Daen border in a small, sleepy milling village. Her father is a Daendroque cobbler, and part of the town militia. Her mother is an Ithanian-- and a member of the town council. Elsin is an only child.
  
  
• 300: Elsin completes her training with the Light Bow, under instruction by her father. She begins learning surgical and first aid medicine. She uses this training to patch up small wounds, and acts as a first responder in the melodramatic disasters of the village.
  
  
• 304: Elsin drowns in the river, but awakens a Phantasma. She strangles an older Silven woman acting as a healer and defender, who recovers, but only just. This causes consternation between her and the other members of the community, who demand a trial and punishment, but is protected by her mother's status within the village. Despite the unfortunate strangling, the Silven takes pity on her fellow freak, and allows Elsin to stave off starvation by feeding on her once a week, sometimes once every two weeks. Her village is sacked in the Bone Horror crisis. She assists in defense of the village after much of the militia are picked off.
  
  
• 305: From the smouldering remains and among the heavy casualties, Elsin senses opportunity. She earns the trust of the villagers by helping rebuild burned down houses, a new school, and even helping raise the new Cathedral.
  
  
• 306: Elsin completes basic medical training and decides to move to Regalia. She seeks information about her condition, and a more reliable foodsource.

Charlotte - @canaaa: City councilwoman, and nickname giver galore. Charlotte likes to call Elsin by her last name, but she doesn't seem to mind. They're casually chatty, and maybe they'll be better friends soon. Elsin certainly admires her confidence

Connor - @Deadfoe51: Elsin's rather fond of this upright, but not uptight, Drow. He's teaching her to defend herself against the criminal elements of the slums. They've had something of a misadventure together as well, and are sworn to mutual secrecy, more or less. It's only brought them closer.

Elijah - @Annju: Her favorite librarian, and a bit like her older brother. Eli has always treated her with respect, and she loves his sense of confidence and style. They're bound to come into conflict, sometime, as they have wildly different worldviews, but hopefully it all ends well.

Franco - @WrongChat: The best bad priest. His views are liberal, and his style is unconventional, which is something Elsin loves. He's inclusive of her in conversation, and in the Faith. Since the Dais, he's encouraged her to pursue her worldly mission with gusto, and has been instrumental in keeping her in line with a Church who so often casts Aberrants aside.

Gawa - @lizman1000 : Their deeply complicated relationship has only gotten more complex. Elsin, in an hour of darkness and desparation, turned to the Defiler for a meal, and for some emotional support. After offering an olive branch three or four times, Gawa accepted. They struck a few bargains, all of which have been fulfilled. After a recent... miscommunication, the Bone Witch stabbed the Phantasma in the gut. It's put a bit of a damper on things.

Philippe - @ContestedSnow : An old friend. Elsin and Philippe met while he was in the army-- fresh out of his first marriage. The connection was instant, but they were separated for two years by circumstance. The time apart has changed things between them, it seems, but not broken them. They're housemates now.

Josephine - @LlamaDelBae: Energetic, charming, and funny, Elsin sees a great deal of herself in. They both love lobbing snowballs at lovey dovey couples in the park and making fun of their mutual friend, Philippe. The girls, if they spend any more time together, might become holy terrors. Lucky they're housemates, eh?

Kamirah - @Eccetra: Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur... Just kidding. Kami's has a raccoon's face, and their love of discarded things to boot. Elsin sold off a somewhat valuable heirloom to Kami, and instantly clicked with the friendly Varran (at least from her standpoint). She's missed the cat's company.

Keltie - @Raeris: Rustic, rowdy, and firey. What's not to like? Though their relationship might be a little one-sided, Elsin considers Keltie to be a friend, and one of the very few Silven she trusts almost completely.

Leufred - @Anakyrivo: Leufred was the very first person Elsin came in contact with in the city, and hasn't lost contact with him. He was the one who collared her, explained the rules, and encouraged her to join the Divine Militia... all things she doesn't hold against him. She sees the Hallowblood as a paragon of the Unionist Faith, and admires his commitment (and ability to hold his tongue) greatly.

Thomas - @Wrinklebrain: Poor, poor Thomas. Initially drawn to him for his skill with an arbalest, she's quickly come to realize he's more complicated than she'd assumed, and that they've got more in common than ranged combat skills. She's reaching out, and hopes he accepts her offers of friendship.

Winifred - @AtticCat: Elsin's favorite noble. Winifred is a resourceful medic, and a sweet friend. Elsin's hoping that they'll accomplish great things together-- mostly in the vein of harassing Franco.
