This takes the form of a purple liquid-like shield rapidly enveloping them and acting like a barrier to any type of Magic. Magic that is already having an effect on them immediately ceases (except for Mind Magic & Curses), while any future Magic is absorbed by the shield. While this shield is active, the person can only move with the speed of a crawling pace, if they want to move faster, they have to cancel the shield. The shield cannot be flickered on and off constantly. When disabled, it takes a full minute before it can be reused, but it can be summoned instantly when it is ready. The anti-Magic field can be maintained practically forever, but it also disables the user from interacting with the world outside of the shield besides walking at a crawling pace and talking. From a young age, her mother had plans for her to adopt their career of hunting, yet, the child struggled greatly to get their mind around the trade. Elisa, instead, began to drift off to the village General Store, flicking through the pages of whatever few books they got through the door. Due to them being far from best sellers, the owner cared little, eventually expecting the curious child and making preparations for their arrival. As she grew in maturity, Elisa began conversing with the store owner, although, the rather ignorant man had little answers to the overflowing questions that she possessed. Having some form of guilt at lacking the answers, the merchant began ordering in more and more texts of knowledge. Although, he did suggest that she pursue further teaching at Academie du Éducation dans l'Histoire du Monde, an academy of the School of History in Ithania. Elisa turned to her parents, requesting the funding to pursue such a scholastic life-style, which they were, at first, aprehensive of. However, with some time, and with the girl putting in the effort around the house to earn her keep, they obliged, and she set off to the school. She began her training here, intially, working away with little question to the philosophies instilled upon her. Eventually, a lecturer from the far off lands of Farah'deen, a Songaskian, came to discuss the topic of dragons, albeit briefly. Enthralled by such a subject, she approached the scholar, requesting on more information, and after some more convincing, and shows of promise, they obliged, taking them back with them to the Academy in the Songaskian Masaya. Young Adulthood (16-25) Elisa pursued her study from here, eventually completing such, as well as developing her passion for the draconic. She made many friends, and even found some, albeit shortlived, love along the way. Yet, she struggled under the blistering desert sun, and the vastly different culture to what she was used to. Soon after her graduation, she left the Masaya, and headed back home to reconvene with her family. Elisa's research into the dragons began to reach fanatical heights, eventually devoting herself to their splendor, much like the rest of her family soon adopted. Along the road, she searched into the Ritualistic tendances of Dragon Worshippers, eventually becoming a practioner herself. She began looking into the Isldar peoples, exploring their affinity with the Dragons in her pursuit of knowledge. Although, such proved to be mostly fruitless, besides the odd pointer here and there about her Ritualism. Recent Years (26-30) Growing frustrated at feeling as if she was moving nowhere, Elisa took a break from her draconic studies, beginning to delve into the realm of sorcery, something she dabbled in lightly during her schoolings. After her success, she felt reinvigourated in her pursuit of draconic knowledge, setting out once more in her goals. Elisa began roaming the world seeking to expand her knowledge on the dragons and magical knowledges, eventually finding herself stationed in the Imperial Academy of History in Regalia. She reconnected with her family once more, and continues to expand her knowledge wherever and whenever possible.
