Basic Information Elethia (Ellie) Makari is a Sixteen year old female Talar. She was born to Haemir and Arlayna Makari on April 4th, 287 AC. Elethia lives in the Mossy Poss. Her main goal in life is to explore all of Aloria. When she first arrived in Regalia she wanted to educate herself about the many different places in Aloria. Being in the sewers she has had a chance to one raise money to one day embark on this quest, and two explore a dangerous place that not many have had the ability to experience before. Elethia may in the future set out to fulfill her life dream, but for now she's stuck a slave at the Mossy Poss. Ellie had never really been the kind of person to stand out or to be different, though exploring and learning have given here a kind of 'freedom' that other people can not judge her for. Lothar Faith of Estel Visual Information Body Description Elethia's body is fairly simple. Narrow and slim could basically describe her body in general. She has a soft pale colored skin, small brown freckles across her body, and small hands. Elethia is 5'5'', weighing only 130lbs. Her shoulders are slightly-broadened, giving her a mature factor. She has a few curves here and there, giving her a feminine look. A few muscles appear around her body from working as a slave. A light six pack can also be seen on her chest from having to defend herself in the sewers. Elethia often trains so she can better protect herself against enemies. Elethia has a soft pale colored skin. Her skin seems to glow with a white/tan radiance. She has a few freckles on her cheeks and across her nose, along with a few others across her body. Elethia has none to little body hair. Head Description Elethia has a very small and semi-angular head. Her cheek bones perk up and her ears are pointed to the tip. She has very well-defined chestnut eyebrows that go perfectly with her large grayish-blue eyes. Elethia's cheeks are narrow and blush with a light pink color. She also has a rather small button nose. Elethia has rather large eyes that beam with a silver-blue mixed color. Her eyes go perfect with her naturally warm smile. Elethia has small brown freckles dotted around her cheeks and across her nose. Elethia has long brown hair. Well she used to, *COUGH*@SenileKaboose *COUGH* Until she was forced to cut it to get away from Taenerael. Clothing and Accessories Elethia usually wears a light green dress that is lined with white lace. It is a cute and simple dress with green buttons and a green bow that wraps around her waist. The dress also has a small brown belt with a silver buckle. She also wears brown boots with dark brown lace. Spoiler: Basically This Behavior Information Personality Selfless: Ellie is morally a very selfless person. She is generous and gives to those who are not as fortunate as she is. Elethia is not a coward. She believes cowardly people are selfish and rude. She tries to make cowardly people strong and selfless so that they can help others and protect the innocent. Obedient: Elethia listens to her superiors, she knows that she must do what she is told. She tries not to break the law, though being a sewer-rat sometimes that can be hard. Being in the sewers is breaking a law after all. Though no one needs to know that. Elethia is for the most part law-biding and she doesn't question what she is told to do. She knows that all she needs to do is to JUST DO IT. Secretive: Elethia doesn't speak her mind a lot. Being a slave and all not everyone will even give a damn about her opinion. This has made her very secretive. She keeps a secret, even if it is a horrible secret that tortures her very mind. Eventually she might tell, only if the secret is torturing her mind. Kind: Elethia is a very kind young woman. She always offers a smile to anyone who crosses her path, though she is wary of who that person may be. She bows her head and does what she is told to do. Always offering a smile in return. Shy: Being a slave, she has kept to herself. Making her shy and secretive. Elethia has always been shy. She tends to only be around people that she knows, she isn't very adventurous when it comes with meeting a new person. Especially since she lives in the sewers, it can be hard to tell which shady figure is good or bad. Sensitive: To be honest Elethia doesn't take criticism well. She doesn't like to deal with bullies or anything of that sorts. Elethia believes that if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it. Or else you'll just end up getting a boot to the face. Attached: As I stated above, Elethia tends to stay with her own group of friends. She doesn't branch out to other people that easily. This has made her very attached to her friends, not really in a good way. She grows anxious when she is alone and she wants to go wherever her friends venture. Loyal: Attachment isn't always a bad thing. Because of this bad personality trait a good one emerged. Elethia stays loyal to her friends because she knows it's the right thing to do. As I stated above she doesn't branch out much into new friend groups. Think about it this way; If she loses her friends it'll be very hard for her to make new ones. This is why she wants to be loyal and help her friends. Likes Bar Tending: Elethia loves her job as a bar tender at the Mossy Poss . The screaming crowds and noisy parties make her job a lot more exciting then what it would be if she were a normal bar tender. Even if every once in a while some idiots start a fight. Though she knows that the others at the bar or stronger staff will take care of them. Nature: Nature has always been a big part of Elethia's life. She loves exploring new meadows and running across grassy fields. She loves the scent of flowers and the bees that come and go while pollinating them. Serenity: The peaceful sounds of birds singing, the breeze blowing, these are things that Elethia finds oh very relaxing. Elethia, as many of you may know, tends to stay out of fights and keep to herself. She loves escaping to the outside world every once in a while to experience serene and quiet places. Her favorite place may be the waterfall in the park. She loves the gentle mist in which that reminds her how beautiful the world actually is. Magic: Though she never sought out to learn it, Elethia has always been fascinated by magic. Elethia never really wanted to have magical powers, though she thought that magic in a whole was a very interesting subject. Dislikes Orcs: Elethia doesn't necessarily hate orcs. She doesn't hate them at all to be completely honest. Elethia is terrified of orcs. Elethia believes orcs are feral beasts who plunder and murder without remorse. That is why she is so scared of them. One orc in particular took advantage of that fear... *COUGH* @FishyBack *COUGH* Li: Being a slave is hard. When she first became one Li did that whole 'you owe me your life' cliche. That is the main reason she even became his slave. Another reason may be that he is strong and will protect her. But Elethia knows better than to count on her master to save her. Elethia loathes Li very much, but she knows she can't do a thing about it. Thieves: Elethia is a slave who barely makes enough to support herself and she doesn't need some thief trying to steal her stuff. She makes a humble living in the sewers bar tending to decrepit and shady people. A lot of the people she serves are criminals. (Well all of them are, they being in the sewers in all.) Someone has tried to rob her once, and she absolutely hated it. Elethia hates being treated like dirt. She may be a slave, but she has feelings. Judgmental People: Elethia, being a slave and all, is treated like absolute dirt. People see the collar on her neck and judge her by her cover. People believe she is just a pitiful slave that deserves no more than the collar she wears. And frankly, she's fed up with how she is treated. Elethia knows she can't change how she is treated, so she wears a smile and does what she is told. Bugs: Elethia has always been terrified of bugs. She thinks they're disgusting and very frightening. Living in the sewers she sees a lot of bugs. Most of the time she screams and runs away, though she will try to kill a bug every once in a while. Abilities and Disabilities Strengths Knowledge in Healing: Elethia's knowledge in healing has helped her survived in the harsh conditions of the sewers. She is able to heal herself and others if she needs to. Even if a battle is raging on Elethia would be able to work calmly and efficiently. Elethia for a short time in her life considered becoming a healer. However her love of travel and exploring new places took command and becoming a healer was erased from her life plan. She still is knowledgeable enough in the medical field to preform a variety of different medical procedures. From cleaning a wound to detecting illnesses, Elethia can do it. Cunning: Elethia wouldn't describe herself as a full on tactician, though she does have tactic skills that she uses to win fights and such. Living in the sewers you must have decent street smarts and tactical skills or else you're helpless. Elethia for one loathes the feeling of being helpless. She may appear helpless, though she can still break your wrist if she has the proper strategy planned out. Appearance: Elethia's appearance has worked to her advantage before. A lot of people take one good look at her and think she's a helpless little girl. Well this 'helpless little girl' can still send a boot to your face. Elethia may be small and innocent looking but she can still take you out. This strength is one of the main reason she hates people who judge her by her appearance. They don't know that she can still kick their arses. Weaknesses Helpless: Elethia, although being cunning and having somewhat tactician training, is utterly helpless against opponents without a proper strategy. In the heat of battle trying to carefully plan out strategies can be hard so Elethia tends not to fight a lot. Though when she does fight she can get stressed and angry when she doesn't have enough time to think of a proper strategy. As stated above Elethia loathes the feeling of being helpless. And in battle she can sometimes be. That is why she tries to plan the battles, not fight in them. Orcs: Elethia is terrified of Orcs. If she sees one she will freeze with a look of terror upon her face. If one is less than two feet away from her she may go into a full-on panic attack. She has gotten better when dealing with this fear, though she is still frightened whenever she sees an orc. When it comes to fighting an orc in battle Elethia will almost defiantly lose. For one she may have a panic attack, also orcs are much taller and stronger than her. Elethia wouldn't stand a chance against one. Attached: Elethia is very attached to her friends. This has gotten her in serious trouble before. When someone goes on a mission she volunteers to help. When she is turned down she follows anyways. Elethia mostly always ends up getting hurt if she follows her friends when they're going on a very dangerous mission. She even has been used as a hostage because she decided to follow her friends on dangerous missions. Life Story Early Life~ On April 4th, 287 AC a little Nelfin girl was born in a small cottage in Daendroc. Later named Elethia, she was a darling girl who was always smiling. Living with her parents Haemir and Arlayna Makari she lived and grew in peace and happiness. Elethia as a toddler always loved running through the meadow behind her house and exploring the forest not too far away. The little girl had always had a passion for exploring and discovering new things. She had always loved learning about the pretty flowers that grew in the meadow, and the decrepit creatures that lived in the forest. Her mother always warned her to never go into the forest, but Elethia's curiosity got the best of her sometimes and she did venture into the forest. She never went far, probably twenty feet at the most. Though while in that forest she realized how brave she actually was. Ever since that day Elethia had thought about becoming an explorer Childhood~ As a child Elethia did what she was told, besides not going into the forest. She did her chores, she helped her parents, she did everything that she was asked to do while never complaining. Her parents were truly happy to have a daughter as well-behaved as Elethia. One day when Elethia was ten she thought to herself "What if I became a healer?" Elethia thought about it and then decided that she would become a healer. The next few years she recieved medical training from her parents, who had both had medical training of their own. It wasn't until she was fourteen that she decided to abandon healing and switch her priorities to exploring. Finally on May 25th, 301 AC she bid her family farewell and headed to Regalia in hopes of furthering her knowledge of the world. Teenage-Hood~ Upon arriving in Regalia on the 27th of May, 301 Elethia Makari bought herself a comfy little house in the common district of Regalia. Living there she made many trips to the library to study the world around her. There in those books she read the horrible things that orcs had done. Reading those books could be the base of her fear. While living in Regalia Elethia also hired a tutor in hopes of being able to learn more from an adult, since she was only fourteen at the time. The next few years was a blur of studying, exploring, cheers, and stress. On Elethia's sixteenth birthday she headed to the tavern, eager to taste her first sip of alcohol. Once arriving she sat down and ordered an ale, looking around at the dense crowd. A man was sitting next to her at the bar. The man was hooded and dressed in black. "A criminal," Elethia thought. She turned away from him and took the drink from the bartender with a smile. She heard a loud noise behind her and turned to see an orc arguing with another orc. She shuttered and got up out of her seat and slipped past them to the exit. Once exiting someone passed her, it was the man from in the tavern. He swiftly made his way into the streets and walked forwards towards the docks. Elethia's curiosity perked and she followed the man. She followed him for a good ten minutes until she saw him duck into the sewers. "Isn't being in the sewers illegal? What is that man doing?" she thought out loud, stopping in her tracks. She debated the thought for a little while and headed in after the man. It was very dark, she could barely make out her hand in the dim light. Though she could see the dark silhouette of the man she was following. She hurried after him. Elethia rounded corners and alleyways as she followed the man. After a little while he stopped in front of any entry way to a tavern of some sorts. Elethia hid behind a pillar, looking at the man. He went inside, leaving Elethia alone. She went out from behind the pillar and slowly made her way to the entrance. "Mossy Poss" is what a sign said. Little did she know a new chapter in her life would soon start. How could have she known that when she walked into that tavern would she be captured and become a slave. Elethia knew she should've ran. But her explorers instinct took over and she walked into the tavern. Now~ Elethia shrieked and jumped backwards. Once she entered the sewer pub she had seen the hooded man brandishing a sword in the air. He was yelling things in D'Ithanie, a language she did not speak. Terrified, Elethia darted underneath a table. There were five other people in the tavern not including her and the man. A Klein, a Qadir, two Ailors, and a Drowdar. The Drowdar man stood up and rapidly spoke in D'Ithanie. Elethia could only guess he was responding to the cloaked man. The man yelled back, speaking gibberish from what Elethia could understand. She pulled her hands over her ears and closed her eyes. Suddenly she felt an hand grip around her wrist. A violent tug pulled her out from under the table. Elethia opened her eyes and was staring face to face with one of the Ailor men. She turned around to look at the table she was hiding under. The cloaked man's sword was buried in it. It would've stabbed into her head if the man hadn't pulled her out. She looked back at the man with fear in her eyes. Another violent tug at her wrist and the man pulled her outside the tavern in a dash. The man took her over to a nearby pillar and threw her against it. She winced as she made contact with the mass of stone. She turned around to look at the man. "I just saved your life. You owe me yours," He hissed. "You shall obey me, and become my slave." He then leaned in close to me. "Or next time I'll leave you under that table." She looked at him with fearful eyes, and nodded gently. He smiled wickedly. "Right. My name's Li." The End!

Please carry out ALL edits in RED. (Basic information) Please expand more on her life goals. You’ve said that her goals are to explore all of Aloria, except you’ve got her working in a tavern below Regalia. Is this her attempt to raise enough money to fund her expeditions? If so, then please write it. What are the reasons for her life goal, what leads to her burning passion to explore, and what methods will she and is she taking to achieve her goal? Has she chartered ships to places? Does she have a team of explorers, potentially working on the behalf of a charter? How does she thrive, and hope to thrive on the process of achieving her goal. The phrase, it’s not the destination it's the journey, should ring true in this sense. So please go into detail exactly what it is she wants to experience and see, and learn and be. Go into as much detail as you can. (Body description) How has she come across a light six pack? Does she train? Or was she simply lucky with her genes for the moment. Please justify key description points such as this that could have multiple different reasons for existing, just like how you described @SenileKaboose’s influence on your character. Although maybe in a more serious manner. (Personality Traits) You’ve mentioned Elethia to be law-abiding, however you’ve also proclaimed her to be a sewer rat, which by definition implies she has broken the law numerous times. Simply by being in the sewers to begin with. (Personality Traits) Her sense of needing to explore and her personality traits seem to show a confliction. Now I’m all for showing a confliction in a character, as long as it’s played up deliberately. It seems she’s not very outgoing, wanting to follow the herd so to speak, and yet her life goal is to explore everywhere? Is that just a fantasy, or something she actually wants to take? And if it is something she wants to take, then why hasn’t she already? (Dislikes) In terms of dislikes, you solely have directed all her hate and distaste at people. Orcs, thieves, Li, the judgemental… Add another! Except this time, how’s about making it about an item? A dish of food! Something common, like Spaghetti or art, or sponges. Something you can use in day to day roleplay without having some big whole monologuing internal struggle. (Strengths) This isn’t to say I doubt your medical knowledge, but I get a little worried whenever they describe bandaging etc as healing. If you somewhat use common sense to fix up a character, I’d really employ taking a look at a few first aid websites. The .gov websites are the best, though .org’s are reliable also.
