Character Personality Type: ISFP-T | The Adventurer . Religion: Void Worship | 7/10 Life Edwyrd was born in the slums of Regalia's poorest district, to a growing family of Kathar. It should be noted his birth name wasn't actually Edwyrd- It was an expected, convoluted Elven name. When he got older, Edwyrd switched to the more Ceardian sounding name in order to slightly fit in better within the walls of Regalia. Edwyrd's childhood was uneventful - his family lived in a small room, and it was normal for Edwyrd and his few siblings to go days without food. He learned to speak Common - though never to read it. His mother was an Alais vampire, and Edwyrd himself was a brood. He was always the meeker of his two siblings- Shorter and more timid than them both, but far more naturally talented with ritualism, a skill taught to him by his mother. It's said he was able to write She'llaq before he could even read regular text in the Kathar Elven Dialect. As he grew, Edwyrd faced the expected racism Kathar receive within the walls of Regalia. When he was a teenager, he witnessed his father's execution after they were caught trying to tear someone's throat out in an alleyway, which has given Edwyrd a fairly logical fear of Regalia's law enforcers. Edwyrd spent much of his teenage years begging in the streets, though he was scared out of doing that when a local gang of Ailor youths attacked him for being a dirty Kathar. It was enough of a scare to cause Edwyrd to start stealing instead of begging. Edwyrd started hanging with a band of pick-pockets and thieves, but due to general clumsiness he could never get the hang of picking pockets. Instead, for a small share of the prize, he would host little puppet shows on the sides of streets, to draw the attention of crowds whilst his friends tried to mark a target. They eventually broke off due to in-fighting, and Edwyrd sadly remains as inept a rogue as ever. Now that he was a "man", Edwyrd learned a little about the Dread Empire, where his mother was from. He was told he had become old enough to choose his Void Sire, as she once had. Of course, Edwyrd was drawn to Lumeria - The Sire of Want - for he desired to live in comfort; he wanted the things he didn't have. He had Lumeria's Sigil tattooed onto his back. Rather recently, Edwyrd was bitten by a powerful vampire when he tried to steal from their pockets. The perceptive vampire was amused; so impressed by how close Edwyrd had come to succeeding, that they decided to let him live. It wasn't until a short while later that Edwyrd began showing signs of a successful infection, and now - as a new fledgling Alais vampire - he seeks to stick with his coven and prove his loyalty, his timid personality warped by the mental characteristics inherent with his vampiric infection.

Also added art. 12/06/2020 - Bargheist vampire bloodline was changed in lore - removing elements which had drawn my interest. As a result, I have changed Ed's bloodline to something I believe will be more fun. Also moved some proficiency points around.
