I bet you'd like to know.
The following would be cried out to the people of Old Town, and fliers across the Gauntlet, The Dragon, and the Blind Basilisk could be seen.

Edicts from the Blackhawks

June 22, 307 A.C, Part II
↠ The Howling Wolves of Betrayal, the Green-Eyed Witches
Patience is a virtue for us all. After this recent meeting, my intentions of calming hostilities was apparent. The Blackhawks have not actively sought out others, but they have given. We've hosted plenty of events for the common folk and the working people of this city. Though in recent light of some untrained lap-dogs, there has been a pressure amongst the Greywitches to act as incompetent as possible. The protectors of your state have walked into the neutral territory of the dragon due to a report of slander amongst a pink-dressed elf. They proclaimed that Maria Valnet, the owner of the Dragon's Nestled Nook Inn was to be placed under arrest or shot due to this little uproar by the feminine Snow-Elf. We refuted the claims of arrest, the guards argued, all backing this random-Nelfin, armed to the teeth, and began placing their crossbows against someone's head over this slander. Threatening to kill, of course. This Nelfin not only puppeteered your city's Greywitches but also formed false accusations toward an already hostile force that were not to keen on ever following Old Town's given liberties. Especially in neutral territory. Do you want your children to be shot over a passing comment? This is your guard, the people's guard.

↠ Changing With the Times - New Procedures
Keep on the lookout, The Blackhawks will be doing frequent patrols and are going to step into the light a bit more than before. It seems the times have called for it, and we are ready to what we have to. Unmasked, or masked, with fist or word.

Signed,
Nace of Kinverla
Protector of the Blackhawks

To Nace,
Do the crime, serve the time. Maybe you should stop trying to put drinks on a noble's tab.
Leufred du Brierüst,
Commander of the Greywitch Guard,
Abbot of Nearhearth.

"Thas' god damn fuckin' right! Keep yer Witches outta my inn. Tellin' me y'lot ain't gonna come in without a warrant. But y'kick out one fuckin' guy that's threatenin' me n'my lively hood, an' all th'sudden we got crossbows pointed at us an' one of my best bouncers 'n fuckin' chains." Maria scoffed, waving the flyer over Mavis' face. "Y'see this? Don' be like them cunts when y'grow up."

Läthai snorted as he read the comments about a 'feminine snow-elf' and 'pink dressed.' He felt sympathy for both sides, but the comedy of it was overwhelming. "Well. Seems like my friend got into some trouble."

in other news; this reminds me of something.

"Where does this fool keeping finding paper?" the Lord Commander had to ask himself, setting this newest edict aside. "Nothing worse than a grub who thinks he knows the Law, made even worse by a hero complex and unprompted vanity. Never the matter" he muttered to a nearby cupbearer @AtticCat, scribbling down something onto a parchment. "I feel like doing something spiteful". The Howlester's lips began to stretch into a devilish grin, blowing on the dying ink before folding it and sending it on its way.

Ibara remembered fondly having to help a fellow kathar across the bridge after being assaulted by a guard. It was funny, as the kathar insisted that they were not us, and that they had papers to be where the humans could be. It is funny, as dogs could never understand the difference. We are the same color, aren't we? Examining over the note she would smile.

"Wonderful news. Perhaps I can feel a little safer now.. Or perhaps this will only bring more violence."

Merril sighed after she finished reading the statement.

"This won't end well."

The Cupbearer leaned forwards some to peer at the Lord Commander's paper, tilting her head curiously. "Might as well. If a lost thumb doesn't teach the man, I don't know what will."

Argylwyd frowned as his trusty Allar read the script to him. Raising a glass of ale to his lips, he'd grumble "Not like the guards have done anything productive here anyway. Unless they count pissing off slummers, and causing more gangs like this to pop up as productive."

"Hang on, we did what?" Elyon did a double take. "Come on, guys, we should just leave Old Town alone."

Mavis crinkled her nose at the sight of the parchment, reading it over with little toward no interest. She gave a simply nod of the head, a cheerful grin across her face. "Aye Aye!" She spoke with her heavy accent, twirling a finger around her red hair as she continued to pass her time, playing with her hair and the few oiled strands that it kept.
