Hailing from the islands of Hadar, the Kahsaivola family is unique in that they are dwarves of Hadrav'yan descent, giving them dark skin, while still retaining the dwarven green eyes and reddish hair. Their family takes on a unique aesthetic, as well, with swirling tattoos with both sea life and traditional dwarven motifs, with the basic aesthetic being that of the Maiar.

They mostly consist of the father Amo and his immediate relatives, like children and wife, those being more distantly related not using the family's trademark style.

In the family's homeland of Hadar, they frequently trade with the Maiar, and a fierce in defending them as a culture, and see their status as a non-race to be utter nonsense. As such, the family often takes a Maiar name in place of a tradtional dwarven or Hadrav'yan name, though still use the sun-based middle names of Hadrav'ya.

They are believers of Hadrav'yan Unionism, but have distinct dwarven beliefs, as well. They pride themselves in their fishing skills, sailing, ship building, and crabbing. The family values being well rounded in your skills, but focusing on a certain trade, and honing the skills pertaining to that trade, as well as choosing a traditional weapon and training in that. The family colors are white and black, which is often seen in their summertime clothing, adorned with feathers and shells.
