Kuroki-rengo Family

The Sihai Kuroki-rengo family can be considered to be a faction of the Zhèngyì Shèhuì (正义社会) organization, originating from a worker's union in the countryside of Geundang in Jin-Lung. Established as a breakaway group, it operates within the structure of an organized group, hence its colloquial designation.
The Kuroki-rengo family was formally created in 311 AC. The family is relatively small because of how recently it was created, but supporters of its leader, Kazuru Kuroki, swore loyalty to him and joined what was essentially a division of the parent organization. They exist in Regalia as a wealthy trading company.
Entrance into the family
To enter the Kuroki-rengo family, one must go through a screening process that involves a multitude of tasks. Further information is provided for those who aspire to join. If you are interested in creating a played character for the family, keep in mind that unless you want to be related to any of the characters by blood, they are not familially related; there is a distinction between the Kuroki Clan and the Kuroki-rengo Family. Furthermore, the "Character Pitch" is to just get an idea of what you want and it isn't final; after further discussion, we can finalize a character. Character pitches may only include characters of Sihai descent/culture and Allar from Jadeheart. There is some flexibility if you want to join but don't necessarily want to choose any of the two options, so just DM me about it if that's the case.

Kuroki-rengo Character Creation

- Character Pitch: Kazuru Kuroki is a 22-year-old Sihai who is the founder of the Kuroki-rengo family. He received this position after rising to a leadership position within the Zhèngyì Shèhuì. His efforts in the Zhèngyì Shèhuì led to his appraisal by most of the original members of the Kuroki-rengo's parent organization, so they permitted the creation of the family. He is a collected and respectful person in public but is more relaxed when it comes to interacting with close friends and family. His role within the Kuroki-rengo is a leader, politician, and businessman, but his generalized niche is a guiding figure and the person who spearheads the family.
He was born in the Kingdom of Jin-Lung where his family came from an established line of tanners. Alongside his brother Masao Kuroki, they faced social discrimination by the corrupt lord of Geundang. They live through their lives helping their parents' business, but they began to involve themselves with the Zhèngyì Shèhuì a year into their creation. After creating the Kuroki-rengo family, Kazuru and his companions travel to Regalia in February of 312 AC.
