Hi this is Zainia. I'm not a proffessional writer, so feel free to make suggestions or edits. This is the first chapter of a mini-book i'm writing Dragons of Ceardia:
Chapter 1
Dragons. They were all around me. I was scared, but at the same time, in awe. Flying above me, with their graceful wings, and their colorful fire. Then I was one of them. Flying above all things. Greatest of all beings. Then I looked down. The dark lord. A knight dressed in black armor, on a dark unicorn. Evil personified. The plague of the land. With his sword, with runes of evil inscribed on it. He pointed his sword at me, and a black beam of light was shot out of the sword, hitting me, turning me back human. I was falling, falling, falling. The ground was approaching. I braced myself, and THUMP.
I woke up on the hard wooden floor, having fallen off my bed. I was already forgetting the dream. I tried to keep the dream in my memory, but a voice pierced my train of thought. "Zain! Get up!" I recognised the voice as my Mom, Marie Hamilton. "Coming!" I replied. As I headed downstairs, I ran past my brother's old bed. Sloan, along with my father, Duncan, went off to war against the Kingdom of Insidious, to protect our hometown of Silveredge, along with all of Ceardia.
I went into the kitchen, to see my mother. "Zain, could you get the eggs today?" my Mom asked. "Sure." I replied, knowing that she wouldn't take no for an answer. I went outside to the chicken coop, and gathered a couple eggs. The air was cool, and I could see past our small area to our neighbors, the Stuarts. I went inside and Marie and I made eggs for breakfast. Later that day, we would sell some of the eggs Downtown. Marie started complaining about how Father and Brother shouldn't have gone off to war, and Silveredge shouldn't get involved in feudal wars, and that Silveredge could easily take care of Insidious.
I personally wanted to fight in the war. I was so disappointed when brother went off to war, and I couldn't because I was too young. It was so frustrating. I got where Mother was coming for, but I couldn't agree with her. I just wanted to fight!
6 P.M. The same day.
After dinner, I asked Mother if she could tell me a story tonight. She said, " Sure honey, which one should I tell you about?" I answered, "The one about the dragons." She replied "Sure."
After I got in bed, she sat down beside me, and said, "Are you ready to start?" I replied "Sure."
"Along time ago, dragons roamed the faraway continent of Daendroc. The leader of the greatest dragon clan, the Kingdom of Dragonia, was the great Zack. His child, S, took over after he got old. Dragonia had many fights against the immortal Dark Lord, the leader of Insidious. We are descendents of Dragonia, and you, Zain, have dragon blood inside you. Good night Zain."
Marie gave me a kiss on the cheek, blew out the candle, and left the room. Maybe that's why I've been having dreams about dragons. I mean, I'm part dragon. It's amazing!

I wish i had books and quills to write my own story ;(

I will be selling in-game copies of each chapter for 5 silver. If you want one, please post on this thread. Thanks for the comments! I'll try to write another chapter by the end of today![DOUBLEPOST=1353521450][/DOUBLEPOST]
Chapter 2
I woke up hearing the clip clopping of horses. I heard the voices of to men. One said, "Dem, the boy woke up, should I put him to sleep?" Dem replied, "No, Bruno. Let's just wait and see what he does." I looked around and realized I'd been kidnapped! "Let me out of here!" I yelled. Bruno replied "Be quiet, or I'll put you to sleep!" I decided to be quiet, for I didn't want to be put to sleep. I looked around my surroundings, and saw that Bruno had a key ring around his wrist. I jumped up into the drivers' seats, and grabbed the key ring. "The you fool! The boy is going to escape!" yelled Dem. "On it!" replied Bruno. He jumped back into the hold, and tried to grab me. I quickly put a key into the lock, but it didn't fit. Some barrels rolled onto Bruno, but he was quickly pushing them out of the way. "Get over here boy!" he yelled. I put another key into door lock, and it did fit! I pushed open the door, and jumped out the hold. I tumbled on the ground for a while, then realized that Dem and Bruno were running after me. I ran, but they were faster. I couldn't get away! Something hit my head, and hard. I started to lose consciousness. I knew this was the end. The last thing I heard and saw before I blacked out were people screaming, and fire. Then everything went black.

Hope you like this next chapter. Its a lot short than the first one, but its got a bunch of action. Thanks for reading!

New Chapter... Hooray! Thanks for the feedback everyone! Also, I'm out of stock at the moment, so if a buyer supplies a book and quill... 50% discount!!!
Chapter 3
"Lord Fendothyl, they're attacking our camp from the East."
"I know that, Duncan, you fool." exclaimed Fendothyl, while parrying with an enemy wearing the crest of Insidious.
"But Sir, they're also attacking from the West!" answered Duncan.
"So you mean..."
"Yes, we're being flanked!"
Duncan, a lead officer of Fendothyl, the General, and the leader of the Kingdom of Zion, came from the Farmlands of SIlveredge, along with his son, Sloan. They had been attacked in the middle of the night by the armies of Lord Marcos, the leader of Insidious, the Dark Lord, as many called him. Duncan and Fendothyl got separated from Sloan, and didn't have time to search for him.
Fendothyl finished of his enemy, and yelled, "To all, separate into two groups, and head North or South. Pass the word on!"
Fendothyl and Duncan, ran North, but ran into another group of enemies. The groups from the West and the East, circled around them.
Fendothyl cried, "We will not surrender. Our numbers may be few, but our strength is greater than yours, for we have all of Ceardia on our side! Fight on, my friends."
Though Fendothyl's army fought valiantly, but were quickly defeated, and the few survivors were taken to prison. Duncan, and Fendothyl were among this small group, though Sloan, was not seen.
"Perhaps he went South?" Fendothyl suggested.
Duncan replied, "I hope, I really hope."
"Be quiet and move along!" yelled a guard.
The guards piled the prisoners into longboats, and were rowed to the island of Insidious.

This one is a lot different from the other two. It's set in the giant warzone east of Silveredge.[DOUBLEPOST=1353972686][/DOUBLEPOST]Chapter 4 will be up soon! Its a bit weird though.

Fendos in this story? I guess he's been active these past few weeks after all :D. I miss the guy

Bear with me on this one. If there's any way I can make this less weird, tell me.
Chapter 4
I woke up. That was a good start to my day. I mean, I might have died. My eyes were still fuzzy, but I could see cave walls around me. I thought that I saw a figure. A feminine figure.
The figure said, "Oh, are you awake? I'm sure you're wondering where you are. I'm Konata."
I started to make out her face, and found she looked a lot like my Mother, if she was my age. She had a super tight overcoat
"Where am I?" I said.
I tried to get up, but a sharp pain in my back stopped me.
"Don't get up, you're still hurt. Go back to sleep."
"But I need to know where I am!"
"You're in my home. You should be safe here."
My vision started to fade, and I slumped to the ground.
Laterā€¦
I was woken up by Konata.
"We must run! We're under attack!" exclaimed Konata, "Follow me."
"What, who's attacking us?" I said drowsily.
"The armies of Insidious!"
"But, what do I have that they want?"
"I don't know. From what I can tell, you're not even a Class 1."
"What's a Class 1?"
"It's aā€¦ oh, never mind. I'll tell you later. It's a long story. Follow me."
"But my back!"
"I'll carry you."
"But you're a girl."
"WHAT!!! I am stronger then most men are. Don't ever say stuff like that again! Ever!" she screamed while she slapped me in the face. It was the hardest slap I've ever felt.
"Okay, okay. Just carry me."
Konata picked me up and carried me on my shoulder. It felt like she had in-human strength! Amazing!
She carried me to the cave entrance, a jagged cliff. While I was wondering how she ever got me up there, she jumped off.
You're probably wondering if I said that right. I did. She jumped off.
I yelled, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING???"
"Grab my arms."
"WHAT???"
"Just grab them!"
I grabbed her arms and she swung me beneath her. She took her tightly fitting overcoat off, and dragon wings sprung out. She flew a short distance in the night sky, clearly struggling to carry my weight. Below we could see a great army, who had come to get me, watching in wonder. She started to fall, instead of fly, though at the last moment, swooped up, and gently landed on the ground.
In wonder, I gasped and started to ask her a question. She cut me off and said, "I'll tell you tommorow."
She pulled me into a large bush, and she followed me there. We hid as the army went pass. At least that's what Konata said. I was so tired, I fell right asleep.[DOUBLEPOST=1353982521][/DOUBLEPOST]Wondering where the Insidious headquarters are. I noticed its not the place in Ceardia, and its not in Daendroc. Anyone know what area of Ellador it's in?[DOUBLEPOST=1354033314][/DOUBLEPOST]Anyone going to comment on it? Or is it too weird for you.

I like all the refrences to our faction. This is the best book on mc I've read so far!

Thank for the feedback everyone. I will have Chapter 5 posted by the end of today.[DOUBLEPOST=1356127006][/DOUBLEPOST]

Chapter 5
The Island of Insidious. A dark, bleak island on the outskirts of Ceardia, far east of Silverwind. That is where they hold their prisoners. The closest island is the island of the great Scribes, to the north. It is an ugly walled fortress. Anyone can get in, but no one gets out.
That was where Fendothyl was held. Even though Fendothyl was a general, it wasn't him they wanted to interrogate, it was Duncan.
"Tell them nothing." were the last words Fendothyl said before the interrogation.
"Come with me!" a guard yelled to Duncan.
In the interrogation room, there was a battle-scarred man with burns all over his face.
"Hello Duncan. I'm Dem. Do you know why we called you in here today?" the man said.
"No." replied Duncan.
"It is because a friend and I recently kidnapped you son, but he escaped. He had a semi-dragon help him."
"A... semi-dragon!"
"Yes."
"I'm sorry, but I know nothing about his dragon heritage."
"We're sorry to hear that. Speaking of your family, your wife was captured recently. If you don't cooperate, we will have to kill her."
"Marie..."
"You have five seconds. Five, four, three, two, one..."
Suddenly, a large crash was heard.

"Sir, the perimeters have been broken!"
Duncan ran out into the hall, yelling "Marie, are you there?"
A man riding a horse said, "She's safe Duncan. We're here to rescue you."
Duncan got on the horse, and the horse got out of the battlefield, to a rescue boat. On the boat was Marie and Fendothyl.
"Marie!"
"Duncan!"
"I'm so glad to see you!"
"Me too, where's Sloan?"
"I... I don't know. I don't know if he survived."
Marie broke down into tears, as Fendothyl rowed into the north, to the island of the Scribes.

Chapter 6
When Zain woke up, Konata was catching fish in a nearby pond.
Zain asked, "So tell me."
"Tell you what?" Konata asked.
"Why you have dragon wings, of course."
"I am the daughter of Sesthen and Jafon. I'm a half-dragon."

"Now I am confused. My Mom used to tell me stories about Sesthen at night."
"What's her name?"
"Marie"
"Class 1 Semi-dragon."
"Huh?"
"Your Mom's Grandfather is Zachen."
"Zachen? You mean one of the first dragon kings?"
"Yes. No wonder they're after you. You're Zachen's true heir."
"Dragons have hair?"
"No stupid. Heir. H-e-i-r."
"Oh, that type of heir."
"In the name of Gralious!"
"Gralious?"
"Oh, nevermind. Well, let's go!"
"Where."
"The only place you can be safe. Dragonia."

Chapter 7
The Scribes. An ancient group of people dedicated to writing down everything that has ever happened. They live on a lone island far east of Silveredge, dangerously close to the Insidious Prison. Miles of caverns, filled with diamonds, emeralds, and gold, are below the island. And the Scribes use this cavern to use an even greater treasure. Their books. A history of everything. And possibly, some say, all to come.
That was where Marie, Duncan, and Fendothyl were heading. An island of fables. Many people entered to get the jewels, but few returned. As the small boat approached the gate, a volley of arrows fell near to them. Fendothyl raised a white flag, and the arrows stopped. They approached the gate, and guards stopped them.
"What is your business on the island of the Scribes?" a guard asked.
"Please. We are but few, and weapons none. I, a past prisoner of Insidious, and with me, a grieving wife and husband." replied Fendothyl "We mean no harm, but just ask for a place to rest. We will leave by the morning."
"Fine. You may stay until morning. But no longer. Enter."
The gates opened, and they entered the City of the Scribes. It was beautiful, with great libraries, of all the different ages, and many small homes. They were guided to a small home, and were taken inside. The inside was beautiful. Bookshelves were all over the walls, with many different books on them, of all genres. Marie took one of the shelf, and its title was The Flora and Fauna of Faradeen. She had never heard of Faradeen. It must have been a far off place somewhere. She put it down and picked up another. This time, she picked up a book called A Guide to Daendroc, it's Great Beauty and Danger. She opened to a random page and read this:
The Yanar of Daendroc are a group of plant people native to Daendroc.
Marie continued reading, but little of it she understood. She put the book down and walked on.
That night.
"Marie?"
"Yes Duncan?"
"I have an idea."
"What do you mean?"
"We've been poor all our lives. If we could just take a couple of those cavern jewels, we could live well the rest of our lives, and I would never have to go off to war again."
"That wouldn't be right. The Scribes gave us a night's rest free."
"Those scribes don't need the jewels. All they care about are their books.
"I guess you're right, but wouldn't it be dangerous?"
"Nonsense! We could sneak into the caverns right now, right under their eyes!"
"I guessā€¦"
"Well let's go!"
"If you say so."
Marie and Duncan snuck into the night into the Central Library, the one entrance into the mines. There were no guards there, as it was a full moon, and everyone was at a great meeting. Marie and Duncan snuck into the mines. After they climbed down the mine ladder, they found a great chest, near bookshelves. They opened the chest, and inside, there were a bunch of books.
Suddenly, guards with axes came in, and said, "You're stealing our books!"
Duncan cried, "No. We're not! We're just looking for jewels."
"Liars! You shall die for your treachery!"
Fire came out of Marie's mouth, immediately turning the guards into ashes.
"H-h-h-how did you do that?" Duncan stammered.
"Later Duncan. Though I'll tell you this. You know that story about dragons I used to tell Zain at bedtime?"
"Y-y-yeah?"
"It's true."
Duncan and Marie escaped through the central library, and took the boat, without Fendothyl.
"I sure hope that Fendothyl is alright." said Duncan.
"Me too." answered Marie.
Little did they know that Fendothyl was already off the island. In fact, he was no longer in Ceardia. He was sailing towards Daendroc. The home of the dragons.

Chapter 8
"Sir, shouldn't we be sailing east?"
"No, Rowan, you fool. I thought you Scribes new stuff." replied Fendothyl.
"Then why are we sailing North-east?" asked Rowan.
"Leave the captain alone. He knows what he's doing." answered a gruff voice.
"Edmund, let me answer that. We are sailing towards Silverwind, to pick up supplies for the long journey to Daendroc. Where's Borin?"
"U-u-u-h, h-h-h-e-r-r-re." stammered Borin.
Borin, a slim young man, looking very green and seasick, trailed in front of the first mate.
Edmund complained, "I still don't see why you chose a girl as your first mate, captain."
"She is more worth than any one of you, you fools."
"And that I am you bilge rats. Get to work on swabbing the decks, Rowan." directed Catherine of Eternia. "It's a long and dangerous journey to Silverwind. You will be wanting to be prepared."
"Storm ahead." yelled Fendothyl. "All hands on deck!"
"Dumb girl." muttered Edmund. "I'll show her..."

Chapter 9
