Domenico would try as hard as he could to keep his fear hidden, simple wanting to get his job done without making it more difficult than it needs to be. However like everyone else Domenico does have fear, and if he sees something that truly makes him afraid his body may well freeze up, and he'll be unable to move. Either this or he will try to fight without thinking, which will make him prone to making stupid mistakes. How would your character respond to experiencing stress? Domenico is good at dealing with stress. If he finds himself too stressed he likes to grab his crossbow and go out hunting in the woods to let out some anger, or simply even shoot at a non-living target. When stressed he has a habit of tapping his right foot against the ground, which could get annoying to some people as he's not even aware he's doing it. How would your character express feeling happy? When he is happy he will be seen with a constant smile on his face, being a talkative person it might be difficult to shut him up. He will be very friendly, wanting to spend time with those he is close with and trying to make sure they are just as happy as he is. He becomes more generous when he's happy, and so might offer to buy his friends drinks and other things. How does your character view law and authority? Domenico respects the law and authority, and will always try his best to follow the law. Along with this he respects authority to the highest degree, always being sure to address people by their proper titles, and apologizing if he gets a title wrong. How does your character feel about other races than their own? Domenico isn't one to discriminate against a person simply because of their race, and is likely to give most people a chance. However much like other Ailor he does believe that other races are below his, though this doesn't mean he will treat them any differently, if anything he will just feel sorry for them for being born into a lesser race than his own. He won't speak this directly to their faces of course, knowing it would be rude. How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? Domenico is a devout Unionist, being brought up this way much like most other Dressolini families, his own being strong believers. And so he sees other religions as difficult to believe, thinking that people who aren't Unionists are idiots who would believe anything so long as another person is telling them it. This is because of his family, who viewed all other religions as lesser, who taught this to Domenico from a young age. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? Domenico has very little knowledge and understanding for all things Arcane and Magical, and so hasn't been able to develop much of an opinion on it. It is because of this that he keeps his opinion on the matter neutral, thinking that it could be good in the right hands, but catastrophic if in the wrong hands. How does your character feel towards their family? Domenico came from a loving, rather large family. He cares about his family more than anything and wants nothing more than to make them proud. It is because of this that he has kept his homosexuality hidden from them for 24 years. He, being the first born son, was sent to the School of Pavisa to train to become a Pavisa Knight. What is your characters biggest insecurity? Domenico's biggest insecurity is not being good enough. He doesn't feel that he is good enough to make his family proud of him, despite him doing well enough in the School of Pavisa, which he recently graduated from. He doesn't want to be seen as weak by his father, who was a Pavisa Knight before him. What is your character most proud of about themselves? Domenico is most proud of his ability to come to terms with himself. Despite what views other people may have Domenico is proud of who he is, and won't change it for anyone. He is also proud of his skill with a crossbow, and although there will always be room for improvement, is happy with the progress he has made. What motivates your character to to move forward and better their life? Domenico believes that he is a part of something bigger than himself, and wants nothing more than to be like his father and to make his family proud. It is because of this that he will keep on training to become the best that he can be. He follows their code of conduct closely, and wants to be strong enough to provide a sense of relief to those in need. What is your characters biggest fear? Domenico's biggest fear is losing everything he's worked so hard for, such as being shunned by his family, or thrown out of the order. So he will do whatever is in his power to ensure this never happens to him. He doesn't want this to happen as he will then be alone in the world, having only just moved to the city without any of his friends from School, he won't have anyone. Life Story: Domenico was born to a loving Dressolini family in Orazino as the first born son to the family. He wasn’t the eldest child however, having two older twin sisters who took care of him a lot as a child. His family were well off, his father being a Knight before him while his mother was a fashion designer. His family and extended family shared an estate, and so he grew up surrounded by a lot of cousins who he would play with as a child. From the age of around 7 his father started to teach Domenico how to shoot a crossbow, as he was the first born son he wanted him to follow in his footsteps, which Domenico was more than excited about. He also had a love of music, and found that he enjoyed to play the piano, which he practiced in his spare time with the help of his auntie, who was a musician. At the age of 14 he left home for the School of Pavisa, where he learnt to further his skill with a crossbow as well as many others, such as how to wield a shield while also using his crossbow, how to use his crossbow up close via the spike on the tip of his crossbow. He also learnt the Code of Ehren, a code that he truly believes in and will follow no matter what. Here he learnt discipline and to respect authority. He made many friends here, including a girl who had seemed to take quite the liking to him. Not sure of his own sexuality just yet him and this girl eventually got together, however this only lasted under a week, as when the two eventually got around to kissing, Domenico found that he almost wanted to vomit after, and so was finally able to come to terms that it wasn’t girls he was into. His friends and him all trained together when they could to make sure that each of them were equally as strong as the others, wanting to make sure they all did well. Domenio was sent to Regalia as the only one from his class, and so went there by boat not knowing anyone. The journey was rough, the seas harsh but eventually, a day late, arrived at the city of Regalia, where his new Maestro awaited him.
