The symbol of the Digmaan portrays an Allar biting its own tail, it represents the infinite cycle of nature's endless creation and destruction, life and death. The lands of Hadar may be in perpetual war but there is true beauty within it, inevitably to end. Colloquially titled the Yaotl Ouroboros.

Digmaan Cro-Yaotl is an Allar Digmaan headed by Cro-Zzhin Yaotl, the Digmaan's founder and head. It's history is brief, as it was only founded following the beginning of the Chrysant War though its roots can be traced to the now defunct Digmaan Cro-Tecpatl, which was the Digmaan of the Cro-Allar warlord Cro-Ryzzun, Cro-Zzhin's adoptive father. It was during the heat of the war between Regalia and the Essa Empire that the Digmaan was formed. When the Chrysant War engulfed Hadaria following the unification under Miko Missa, Cro-Zzhin served as Under-leader to Cro-Ryzzun. This was short-lived, however, as Cro-Ryzzun was killed in their first engagement. Cro-Ryzzun refused to retreat upon the beachhead and had put the lives of the army at stake, Cro-Zzhin emboldened by the support of the troops slew his own father in one-on-one combat for Digmaan. Taking up his father's Mu-Allar armies, or what was left of it, he retreated into the interior of Hadaria and unlike many other Cro, would not surrender so easily in the latter stages of the war.

Cro-Zzhin quickly took up the mantle of rule to wage an unconventional war against the invaders, refusing to lay down his arms unlike many of his fellow Digmaan. Building upon the legacy of his slain father, he led a guerilla campaign, harassing Regalian supply and outlying camps while amassing a sizeable number of surrenderee prisoners of war which he kept as trophies of his victories against the foreign menace. Known for his obsession with death, he would carry around the skull of Cro-Ryzzun when on the battlefield, speaking to it and heeding supposed advice from the spirit of his fallen mentor.

Two months following the death of Miko Missa, Digmaan Cro-Zzhin Yaotl finally yielded to the Regalian Empire, issuing a formal statement of submission and releasing all prisoners of war held by the Digmaan. In return for his favorable treatment of prisoners, amnesty was given and Digmaan Cro-Yaotl was left to vye for control in the power vacuum that consumed Hadaria with the collapse of the Essa Empire. Into the current day, Digmaan Cro-Yaotl has been tangled in constant border conflict with numerous rival Digmaan in the Karfanth region, proving an unpopular figure among his contemporaries for his callous demeanor and ruthless tactics. Many have tried to tear Cro-Zzhin from his throne and many have failed. He sits now atop a mountain of corpses, poised to exert his influence over the Digmaan-Rassa-Allar and bring reform to his people or die in the attempt.

qa8SZjj.png

Cro-Zzhin Yaotl differs from his peers in Regalia, and this is an expected reflection in the sentiments of his followers and for what the Digmaan stands for.

Slizzar are viewed favorably, welcomed as trusted advisors or even consorts to the leadership of Cro-Yaotl. Cro-Zzhin believes the vast majority of other Digmaan to be cowards, especially those who surrendered early on in the Chrysant War, their legacies sullied through their dishonorable conduct by turning against the Essa Empire and he actively seeks out conflict with those Digmaan, seeking to prove his superiority, both in moral standing and in power and influence.

Cro-Zzhin took a fascination to art and theatrics in his early years, captivated by the native motifs and primitive works of the Allar, however, it wasn't enough to satisfy him. He developed a strong appreciation for culture and believed that through understanding of the art of other races, it allowed him to delve into the psyches of those cultures. He seeks those equally enraptured by the arts of the world around us in Hadar, those with a natural willingness of wanderlust to reach out for what the world has to offer. You must be respectful to all, even our foes, it shows a great deal of restraint in the warrior which can control his tongue.

It is the opinion of Digmaan Cro-Zzhin Yaotl that the Digmaan-Rassa-Allar is an ineffective body that has utterly failed in its purpose to serve as a governing body for the various warlords of the Allar. Central, authoritarian rule must be instituted, and in his eyes, the best example to take from is that of the Regalian Emperor and what would be their unquestioned dominion over the feudal vassals and noble lords that serve them if the mantle was taken. This goal is not sought through or supported by destabilization or rebellious action but through the equal efforts in participation within Regalian affairs and nobility. A king must be proclaimed, one dynasty established to rule over the Digmaan in perpetuem, and the mantle of destiny rests heavy on his shoulders as he strives to do the impossible. He seeks loyalty and those of the Allar people willing to stand up for this much needed change.

Research Bonds

As time has gone on Digmaan Yaotl has grown into a sizable force. As the Digmaan continues to grow we have begun to afford to do more with the weekly income we earn. By latest decree the Digmaan has seen fit to reward any Tharaozz or Allar with investment worthy projects to pursue. Together the team involved must put together a feasible argument and project to present to the Digmaan, they must be able to convince him that an investment in their project will bring a return value far greater than invested. These projects can pertain to all manner of science or historical values.

Advocates of the Caste

The Advocate system is simple, for each sub-species within the Digmaan, a single individual can be selected to represent that Sub-Species in a meeting held by the Digmaan so that everyone's opinion reaches the Digmaan without defeating the purpose of the caste system and to not be influenced by 'rank' within our society.

  • The Al-Allar: Intellectuals.
    • They are the majority of the working class within the Digmaan, they form a strong bond with alchemy and are very intelligent. We select one speaker from the Al-Allar to make up the 'head advocator' for the Al-Allar species.

  • The Mu-Allar: Warriors.
    • They are strong, and fiercely loyal toward the Digmaan. Those who call themselves Mu-Allar find themselves within the warrior class, making up most of the Jorgo. We select an advocate from this party to make up the Mu-Allar species.

  • The Zu-Allar: Historians.
    • They are smart, capable of holding tradition like no other. They are book-worms, usually adding to the atmosphere of any library, the Zu-Allar are ineffectively played to to their lax-nature, but still remain an important part of the Digmaan as a hole considering they are able to reinforce tradition when all else fails, we select one advocate from the Zu-Allar party.

  • The Sa-Allar: Workers.
    • The Sa-Allar are "fiercely loyal to all Allar", meaning they will not betray, or stay away from the Digmaan and his party by any means- they are stuck. Which makes them an important, and caring part of the party. They live to serve, and find gratitude in what they do. We find one advocate from the Sa-Allar party.

  • The Es-Allar: Advisors.
    • The Es-Allar are few and none, but are always found beside their Digmaan, whispering advise in opinions for his ears only. This is an important role, and as such the Krallok deserve to have more say, and advise and create, whether that be answering his letters or whatnot. The Es-Allar cannot have one singular advocate, but rather a whole council.

Digmaan
As Digmaan they're the be-all end-all in all matters concerning the control and well-being of the Digmaan, all serve in their name, and all within the Digmaan follow their lead.

✶Digmaan Cro-Zzhin Yaotl ( @Freema )

Under-Boss (Cro-Allar)
An under-boss is a limitless number of Cro-Allar which assist in leading the populace of the Digmaan. They're generals, advisers, family, and Cro-Allar which have decided to follow behind the Digmaan. Their ruling follows the Digmaan's, they have a limited control over all others within the Caste.

-

Krallok (Advisers)
The Es-Allar have been the wisdom and guiding hand to the Digmaan and Allar people since the beginning of civilization. A Krallok guides the community and acts as both an ear and mouthpiece for the Digmaan. Though their wisdom is limitless and unquestioned as honored elders, they're normally not involved in military pursuits, thus typically dissociated and not to order military Caste.

Llazzil Sezaliz Es-Yaotl ( @GoldWolfGaming )
Ssanks Es-Yaotl ( @Aresi )

Rhax (Champions)
The Rhax serve as royal guard to the Digmaan, captains underneath the Cro-Allar for Jogro, and are the considered the most capable combatants in the army. A Rhax is typically Mu-Allar which has either proven themselves or inherited the title through another. A Rhax shares equal right to command another Allar, however full command on Jogro. Normally for other Allar only in the case to rectify their behavior or for their safety.

✶Zzungo Mu-Yaotl ( @Stobohobo2 )
Zzalangua Mu-Yaotl ( @JarrettdaCarrot )

Arbiter
(Captains)
Under the Rhax, the Arbiter has the power to take command during emergency situations. Expected to be more reserved, offering caution and advice to the Rhax (Who in contrast is rallying and fierce) provide themselves as a tactician upon the field. They are responsible for discussing how to best approach an aggressive or defensive conflict to the Rhax. An Arbiter does not have to be limited to a Mu-Allar. They can also consist of Zu-Allar and in some cases, Al-Allar. Each Rhax is assigned an Arbiter.

-

Jogro (Guards)
The Jogro are guards to the Digmaan and those within the Digmaan, typically the extent of their practice is by commands handed down from up the chain. Their duty is to their people as guardians.

Zzazrah Sa-Yaotl ( @Jonificus )
Llezzso Mu-Yaotl ( @Daedaluscien )
Lloxern Mu-Yaotl ( @Juan_Plays )
Llazzari Mu-Yaotl ( @Narrju )
Syrilis Mu-Yaotl ( @DragonQueen23 )
Palamear Mu-Yaotl ( @Viktar )
Camzzar Sa-Yaotl ( @coolcameron717 )
Gullazzi Sa-Yaotl ( @Ringo0310 )
✶Ssaall Al-Yaotl ( @Retro_Huenison )
Allreizz Al-Yaotl ( @Utto_ )
Llezzso Mu-Yaotl ( @Daedaluscien )

Tharaozz (The Tharaozz serve as the Digmaan staff that serve its hierarchy)
A Tharaozz could be an Al-Allar, Zu-Allar, or Sa-Allar which specializes in a specific field of study or trade. They're the backbone of the Digmaan and serve in many ways, they can even be considered for Jogro status if they show capability. A Tharaozz is in command by the Digmaan, Krallok, and Rhax, but mustn't get in the way of the Jogro either.

✶Ssaall Al-Yaotl ( @Retro_Huenison ) - Tharaozz of Alchemy, and Regalian Policy
Si'Zralli Zu-Yaotl ( @Ceilidhe ) - Tharaozz of Music
Hyuzzo Al-Yaotl ( @RustyTrumbone ) - Tharaozz of Culinary
Sallakar Scarab ( @Rinus ) - Tharaozz of Art, and Alchemy
Zuzumi Rassa Al-Yaotl ( @ezalB ) - Tharaozz of Alchemy
Allreizz Al-Yaotl ( @Utto_ ) - Tharaozz of Alchemy
Llezzso Mu-Yaotl ( @Daedaluscien ) - Tharaozz of Culinary
Tuzzsil Urzon Zu-Yaotl ( @SilentEndurance ) - Tharaozz of History, and Writing

Hatchlings
(Children of the Digmaan)
The hatchlings are born into the Digmaan, inherited, or gifted by other clutches. They're typically taught or brought up within a family which exists within Yaotl, and are at an early age given responsibilities within the Digmaan to help cultivate a healthy and successful life.

Iz'Iserl Zu-Yaotl ( @Resirolas )
Szeales Mu-Yaotl ( @Goldifish )

Jisz (Slizzar)
Slizzar though respected must know their place in society, very rarely will a Slizzar have word over edge-wise to anyone which stands in the Caste, even Tharaozz. But in Digmaan Yaotl we believe there are still uses for such people, with a careful eye, they might just have another chance at redemption.

Rhett Jisz-Yaotl (@PuffyPigeon ) - General Assistance

Filling out an application is a formality to be completed eventually. I strictly prefer the meeting with either myself or a recruiter in-game to establish them within the Digmaan and see for ourselves just who you are!

A recount of latest history on "6/3/2018"

The Assembly of Scale and Claw...
To Cro-Zaallsan Yaotl and any which follow in his path,

I, Digmaan Cro-Zzhin Yaotl humbly accept your choice in believing in the future with which we can forge together. Do not take away from this shame or dishonor, but understand that with progress comes change. The future is still murky and we cannot foresee what it has instore for us, however as one consolidated force we shall be able to face any adversity which would reer it's misfortunate mug in our direction. People of Hadar, Allar of the Empire, we shall reach for the stars and provide.

Today marks an important moment in the history we carve out for ourselves within Digmaan Cro-Yaotl. An alliance with the Alchemia Order has been established, Court Physician Zaan Haaven a respected ally of the people of Digmaan Cro-Yaotl shall be recognized, and now we're two Digmaan stronger.

There is no limits to what the Allar can accomplish.

In light of recent developments "6/5/2018"
the Hatchery theft...
A decree nailed to the pillars of the Digmaan-Rassa-Allar Embassy,

Life-mates Zzalangua Mu-Yaotl and Syrilis Mu-Yaotl may rest easy now that their entire clutch has been recovered and returned to the Hatchery. Through the gathered efforts of Krallok, Jogro, and the Rhax the thief had been located, captured, and brought before I, Digmaan Cro-Zzhin Yaotl within the day. It was to be expected that the thief would be difficult, try and bargain for the sole remaining egg, however the bluff was translucent and death is merely a part of the cycle. There was great risk involved but a common criminal will never cause a Cro-Allar to bend before the gathered Allar, or even the affected family. In the end the final egg was recovered, and the criminal handed over to the Inquisition.

As much as this is an update, this stands as a formal warning to any foolhardy criminal which believes they can question a Digmaan's command. All shall learn the full extent of a Cro-Allar's might and punishment firsthand.

May his pain be a teacher not to stand in the way of the People of Hadar, the Allar of the Holy City, and Digmaan Cro-Yaotl. And today we learned as well- never rest, always be prepared.

Jogro formation and battle training "6/16/2018"
a Primal lesson in Tooth and Claw...

From the District to the streets, the formation of Jogro and Allar all alike marched to the Bellator temple. There they fought without falter.

Why do we fight? Is it some predatory instinct we possess, a need to kill, the thrill of battle? We fight to protect our home, our rights. We must train, never to allow ourselves to fall short of personal growth and identity. We're warriors, teachers, alchemists... we're Allar. The Jogro of Digmaan Cro-Yaotl are our sword and shield. Weapons. And when a weapon dulls, what do you have left to fight with, Allar? Tooth and Claw.

In the frenzy of battle, when the blood mixes in the air, carnage laid out before you. Your vision blurs, your mind numbs, and all you can feel is that blood curdling rage build up within you. To harness that frenzy, is to become the ultimate weapon.

Today marks but the first in many training sessions which will be held regularly to keep our weapons sharp. We're a house of war, art, and culture. We must always be prepared.

May we congratulate Gullazzi Sa-Yaotl for their victory within the battle of Tooth and Claw. And may the other Jogro which participated grow from these lessons today.

Cro-Zzhin Yaotl

Why do you want to join the Digmaan?: Explain the motivation behind your application. Be honest!: Mostly just to serve him as an advisor and healer, mostly surgeon for Healer
Roleplay strengths: Alchemy, Medicine, Surgery, (CRP, but not for this char)
Roleplay weaknesses: Some parts of Lore, Diplomatic Rp, and probably more but I cant think
Are you accustomed to Combat RP?: Have you engaged in CRP before? If so, explain an instance for reference. (This only applies to those applying for Guard positions) I do but I dont wanna apply for guard
Have you got a basic knowledge of Allar lore?: (mandatory) Yes
Jails/bans/mutes/etc?: Nada

Character Race: Slizzar (14 years old)
Character Sheet: Here
Noble RP Experience: I have played a servant for the Peirgartens for a few weeks, and am currently playing a d'Vaud house guard having already done so for a few months.
Why do you want to join the Digmaan?: The Allar Embassy was an excellent inclusion into Regalia's roleplay environment. I've been wanting to get involved, but haven't quite had the chance since trying to get attached to a new scaly character. I feel like I've got it this time and want to strike while the iron's hot.
Roleplay strengths: In order to create an interesting and emersive experience for others, I tend to be fairly detailed with my emotes for that extra flavor. I'm good at including new characters in our environment into roleplay in a way that's fun for everyone as well.
Roleplay weaknesses: When the roleplay is moving fast, sometimes I struggle to keep up. For example, when we're trying to chase someone down and a lot is happening at once. To fix that, I may just drop all the fancy bells and whistles in my roleplay and come off as bland just so I can get a grip and keep up.
Have you got a basic knowledge of Allar lore?: Yes
Jails/bans/mutes/etc?: No

Name of your project: Duister Experimentation

IG Name of those involved: PapidaCarrot, @Utto_ , @Retro_Huenison
Character Names/sheets of those involved with the research and their roles: Zzalangua : Alchemist, assists with calculations and planning. Allreizz : Head Alchemist and Leader of project, overseers and tests prototypes, plans and theorizes. Ssaall : Alchemist, second in overseering project, testing theories, and calculations.
Why do you want to study this? What is your end-game goal for this research?: Link to the Alchemy Log (For detailed information) The idea for testing and experimenting Duister is to locate the duration effects of cloudberry or Empairina. With the series of theories being delved into, the Brass Scale alchemy department hopes to upgrade the brew from 30 minutes, and perhaps gather a better understanding to alchemy and it's affects. Any breakthroughs in research could prove to be the foundation blocks to a new concoction a long way down the road.

As of now, increasing duration of a brew seems to be a more minor / simple progression in alchemy. A small step compared to for say - creating an entirely new potion, or changing the effects of an ingredient entirely.
Have you got a basic knowledge of the lore you're researching?: Yes, a strong in depth knowledge.

Noble RP Experience: I have a character who currently serves as a guard under House Von Rahm (previously d'Vaud). I've done this for quite a few months, though the character who is a guard is no longer my main. I expect to main my Allar much more than that.
Why do you want to join the Digmaan?: I'd like to join the Allar community! I love the dynamics set in place, and I'd love to try to roleplay something different from what I've done so far.
Roleplay strengths: I put my best into any and all roleplay situations, I try to be very expressive with my emotes, and I have a reason for absolutely everything my character does, which means that I've done extensive research into every character's race and culture I play.
Roleplay weaknesses: I tend to lose focus while in areas where there are lots of people who clog up the chat with RP not relevant to what I am doing. I also tend to get stuck on one emote at a time; for example, in one conversation my character will smile a lot or nod their head a lot. I'm doing my best to break this habit. I am also not the best at starting roleplay when I have either a quiet or shy character (which applies to quite a few of them).
Are you accustomed to Combat RP?: I am not applying for a guard, so this is not mandatory. However, I have done CRP before and can struggle my way through it.
