Ever the cocky one, any happiness Denzel had he would hold over others. If he is able to share his merriment with others however, he is more than happy to do so. How would your character respond to experiencing Fear? When Denzel’s smug demeanor is wiped away, he would begin to quiver and quake, needing to be consoled by others in order to steel his resolve. How would your character respond to experiencing Stress? When cracking under pressure, Denzel would get frustrated, sometimes lashing out with petty comments towards others. When completely submerged in stress, Denzel shuts down nearly, focusing solely on the issue at hand. How does your character view Law and Authorities? Raised to try and avoid the strict authority of his parents, Denzel has more or less applied this habit to other instances of authority in life. How does your character feel about Races other than their own? Considering himself an Altalar, Denzel does hold a feeling of superiority over the other races of Aloria. He considers the other races of Aloria as somewhat dull, and doesn’t mind making that clear through petty comments. How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? Although born to two different elves, Denzel has gone on to worship Sei-Maan of the Elven Pantheon. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? Finding himself to be a savant with Sorcery, Denzel has great interest in the study. The stuff of the arcane intrigues him a great deal, the magician always willing to learn more about it. How does your character feel towards their family? While Denzel resents his parents, he has developed an attachment to his siblings. Seeing his relationship with them as “thick as thieves”, he would do anything to keep them from harm’s way. What is your character the most proud of about themselves? Although Denzel’s magical prowess is notable, the thing he takes the most pride in his quick and sticky fingers. What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? Coming off as rather greedy, Denzel’s main driving motivation is coin. However, his underlying desire is to get money in order to provide for his siblings. What is your character's biggest insecurity? Denzel secretly sees himself as inferior compared to his siblings, always trying his best to one up them, so to speak. What is your character's biggest fear? One day, Denzel secretly knows his days of a charlatan will catch up with him, fearing he will not be able to earn enough before his time in the spotlight comes to an end. Life Story Born to a set of strict parents, with his mother passing at a rather young age. Because of this he never formed too much of a bond with her, growing closer to his stepmother. While his sister was able to practice with their father in the ways of combat, Denzel never found himself too capable of fighting save for the few scraps he found himself getting into, much to the disappointment of said father. Because of this, Denzel would learn of the more underhanded ways of getting attention, such as hiding himself or the belongings of others away. After learning more about his birth mother, Denzel decided to take up the performing arts. Discovering that he had somewhat of a talent for it, he would go on to perform to whoever would see him in order to bask in the attention the audience would gift him. As time went on, he would find a need to improve upon his acts, learning the ways of Sorcery in order to make his shows truly spectacular. However, all good shows must come to an end, and while Denzel's performances weren't the worst, he would eventually find diminishing returns. Not wanting to be seen as inferior to the siblings he held on a pedestal, he would allow for more audience participation in his shows, secretly plucking any valuables they would carry in order to stay afloat. Denzel would begin traveling about the plains of Daen, entertaining others he passed for the small fee of whatever they had in their pockets at the current moment. Although it was not the honorable life his father or mother would want, it gave him a certain rush of excitement he hadn't felt much of before. He would keep up the act for as long as he could, and on the rare occasion he was caught in the act, learning to hit and run became an important lesson for the street performer. However after finding himself growing lonely as a one man show, he would begin to search out for his family once more. Denzel would follow in his sister Calina’s (@Gallimimus ) footsteps, heading to Regalia in search of fame and fortune. Blissfully unaware of his sister's predicament, Denzel would continue to offer his family support in the city, trying to keep them out of risk like the good hypocritical little brother he is.
Let's get right to the review sorry for the delay! The only issue is the life story needs to be fleshed out quite a bit. Add some moments such as major moments in his life seeing as how old he is there must be more moments that has shaped him to be how he is today. Add these changes in PURPLE and then tag me! @Ded Jok
