Denouncement Of Vidarr Ulfurtonn

A single poster rested on the docks, another nailed to a park tree and another along the center main road, all placed by an elderly Ailor with a bushy beard, keeping his head down at all times. This information is open to all whether it be via reading or word of mouth.

I publicly call out the cowardly, deceiving rapist known as Vidarr Ulfuronn for his crimes against our holy city's name.

Vidarr Ulfurtonn, count and family head, now heretic and rapist, was never loyal in any regard to anyone or anything. A man who, when denied something, will then try take it by force. This I have witnessed on multiple accounts firsthand, as it seems Rena Sophia has.

My Accusation.

Firstly, we have yet to be given the date of said sexual assault. Not a year, month, or day. Perhaps, this rape is the culprit behind Rena Sophia's child? Perhaps, this halfling, this Roviadul, is part-Ailor? Part-Vidarr?

Secondly, we have Vidarr's reluctance to show any alibi, or anything actually disproving the statement. Why, if he did, and lied about it, it would be even easier to track the crime to him! It would be better to just bandy words of considerable size and mention his title until everyone shuts up about it. Wouldn't it, Vidarr?

Thirdly, we have Vidarr's history, when it comes to the treatment of others. He shows no mercy. Need I remind you of his involvement in the Nordmark? Now, now, Vidarr, I can already sense your lips quivering, as you prepare them to screech, "It was pardoned!" It happened, pardoned or otherwise.

Fourthly, I will address the violent tendencies of Vidarr Ulfurtonn. He has started battles, in public no less, and beaten down people as both a Bluesteel Guard and a Violet Guard. There is nothing wrong with these charters, you cannot judge an entire tree by the quality of one fruit, though, Vidarr has shown his love for violence and battle, something quite common for a Velheim. It's not too farfetched to say the violence slipped over to his sex life.

Finally, I will address some of the criticisms that will, undoubtedly, be thrown against this argument. Rena was, by no means, an acceptable or reasonable person. She, too, had broken the law. This is not in defense of any of her outside actions; this is in defense of one. Rena had, by all means, motivations and reasons behind her escape, and her announcement of Vidarr's sexual tendencies. I cannot emphasize more that this is not in defense of the Drow. This is an attack upon a rapacious and avaricious man, and I will treat it as such.

If this man is willing to constantly have sexual relations with a Drowdar and spit in the face of the Spirit, who has Forgiven this man on multiple accounts, what is stopping him from repeating this with other races? If he gets away with this, what's stopping him from forcing himself on other women? How many people have to suffer before this man is brought to justice? Well, I hope no more. This man is not immune and needs to face the consequences of his actions.

How can we trust the word of a man who has wronged our people over and over again? The only defense he offers himself is "I didn't do it!" That is all! We have offered the man the benefit of the doubt long enough.

My condolences go out with all who have suffered under this man's wrath and had to quiver in silence and fear of this man, and for all who have taken the brunt from his own torment.

May the law and the church see through the monster's lies and punish him justly.

Spirit guide.

At the bottom of the pamphlet was a rather odd illustration. A Unionist eye, though the gold had been replaced with purple, and vice-versa.

Víðarr was seen roaring out with laughter on the main road upon hearing this, anyone around easily hearing "T'is man calls me a coward, everyune! But he won' show his face, or give his name! F'ck, he can't even say my name right. I have nothing to hide an' open my doors to all law enforcement, and t'e church for investigation on my actions if t'ey please. I would also suggest findin' out who is runnin' around in defense of Drows an' falsely accusing nobles."

Marie spit her kafee out, mumbling to herself..

"I know /these/ type of people..?!"

Arnold blanked. He took a look at the symbol on the bottom. There were more of these to come, that was guaranteed.
The question is, from who?

Theodosia blinked as the mention of the denouncement grew more and more common, both in mind and in the public. She huffed, shifting her wine glass in her grasp, and leaning back in the comfort of her inn room, dwelling on the presence of possible company. "Well, my lovely brother has certainly gotten popular.." @Masterman120

Nouveau blinked at the news, features blanking. She sputtered on her own blood for a moment, spinning about to flee from the page on the wall. She acted as though it didn't even exist, brows furrowing. "There's no way that's true—...Then again.." She muttered. In that instant, she sped up her pace, making a mad-dash back home for the first time in a week, despite her abundance of injuries.

Tua laughed with a boom "A coward with no name tries to attack a noble with a sheet of paper, this makes my job as a house guard easy the only thing I have to worry about is a paper cut"

Roesia somewhat had a look of amusement upon her features as she read the words then quickly shouted, "You call him coward yet your statement lacks any identity, you call him a rapist yet you lack evidence behind your claim, then again you are also defending a slave so it is you who should be called a heretic." As she continued to read over the lines her look of amusement slowly turned distasteful so she quickly turned away in haste, and slowly weaved through the crowd that surrounded her.

Shadan looks rather startled as Roesia just.. yells criticisms into the air. Regalia is a strange place...

Estiñe clasped a small hand over her mouth, bursting out into a fit of giggles and snorts as she shook her head from side to side- inhaling sharply as to stem her breathing before promptly standing onto a table in the tavern yard to state clearly;
"To whomever wrote this bullshite, curse you. Everyone knows that this Drowdar by the names of Rena is a Slave with an unstable mind and a criminal past! Many could testify that she is unfit to be seen as something to believe and trust. The woman literally stalks Vidarr around and gets all pissed and impulsive when she does not get what she wants. Was she not on the execution stand recently for some crimes? Oh well. Not one person has known not to call her a whore so the likelihood of finding the father of that vile thing is like finding a needle in a hay stack!"
The small woman dipped into a bow in farewell to those who had been present within the Crowd before hopping down and hobbling off to continue on with her life.
"She climbs walls like spiders do, too." She mumbled along as she left.

Clank, clank, clank,
Benjamin Journey- the tired battle bard Violet, was just strolling on patrol through the park. He approached the simple poster, bags under his eyes. He really had to lean in, his jade pupils flickering over the poster with much effort to concentrate, as his mind was so fatigued now.

"What? Has this entire city gone mad or something? I swear- I just saw him the other day saving that slaves life from a noose around her neck. Rebels, dragons, possessed, and now false accusations... Wulong sh*t. I don't believe it."

@MugKing

Sylvia scoffed at the words she read after taking the note from its post, pausing for a moment and took it as personal insult, "This person obviously knows nothing of Velheim culture. Its not that we enjoy killing or drawing blood, but rather the honor that is gained for having the bravery to fight, protect, and gain more for our people." and with that, she went to crumple up the hung note and dropped it to the ground.

All Harald Ulfurtonn would do is laugh, he heard both sides of the story, even hearing from Rena herself, now he just needs to choose who to defend. All he would say is "That Drowdar is getting herself in a lot of trouble, that is for sure." He don't want to choose sides in the little bit of drama, but he feels he needs to choose soon, and choosing to support his adoptive father, would be best in his mind. Before going to try to sleep and most likely fail at napping, he'd think to himself "Does that drow even know Velheim culture?".

Rena was utterly annoyed. As she scanned over the paper she couldnt find the words, her jaw gaping. Eventually after finishing she let out a soft groan and went to hold her child.
"I find it humorous they believe their misfortune is always somehow my doing. Any real idiot who did their research knows i'm not a criminal... But it matters not. They can say what they want about us. We know more then they ever well, and Spirit knows the inevitable results of this conflict will no doubt surprise everyone. And when that time comes to pass, I will enjoy it."

With that she once more took up her disguise, leaving the house and going to do her job. Just because she was a wanted criminal does not excuse the fact she had a quota to fill.

"It's only a matter of time.."

Merina heard the news of the accusation in the Slum tavern she tended, The Falcon's Nest, promptly causing her to laugh and sprinkle a bit of dust onto the counter rather than just the sigg she was lighting. "How in the world can someone think dear Vidarr is evil? He's been nothing but a kind fellow." She gave another chuckle before murmuring an incantation that lit the sigg- along with the bar from the the fallen dust. It didn't take long for the short term memory of the Claith mage to forget the news as she was too preoccupied with slamming her hand onto the bar to put out the small flames which soon died.

Avynn read over the notice, her lips slit into a frown. "Perhaps it is time to bring this to a guard.." she pondered it for a while, taping her fingers against the table. "I could, but I won't. Vidarr saved my life. I won't cross his back on this one."

Ascal Heilen snorted a chuckle, the Nelfin holding a squirming infant of his likeness as he gaze over the denouncement.

"Oh, the petty argument of this one.. Pah, this not my problem."
Taking a moment to look away, tiny hands had already made their way to the document. A long rrrriiip accompanied by childish giggles and it was all but scrap now.
