Subsequent letters would be returned to the senders. Simple parchment, basic ink. The handwriting of the letters alike, a rather sloppy font, though still legible.

To the Prospective to the Ironwolf Legion,

We have received your letter wishing to join our ranks. Safe to say we are eager to grant you access. The sole issue we face is the recent death of our Legate Carthas has left us lacking one to fulfill that role. Once we have that issue resolved the new Legate will pen you personally on the subject of your application.
