Life Story Birth Born in Daendroque in an Ailor settlement to his father Abelhard Latimer and an unknown Mother, Oscoll spent his first years doing things expected of a wee babe. Oscoll learned plains elven and common over the course of his initial stages of life. Oscoll had his elven ears snipped off. Early Childhood At the age of 10, his father Abelhard chose to grant him some tutoring in combat and basic physical training, but nothing too excessive, as he was simply a boy. Oscoll learned the basics of shooting a bow, but was incapable of hitting anything, along with how to swing an axe. He accompanied his father on short runs. Oscoll also had learned how to read and write in Common, but not how to read or write in plains elven. Teenage Years At the age of fourteen, Oscoll went with his father, who had decided it was time for him to pick a life for himself, to the Northern regions of the archipelago. He was dropped off at a lodge of the Great Oak, where he was accepted into the order. Oscoll spent the next four or five years honing his skills with an arcol recurve and his axes, going on hunts with the lodge master, and the code of the order being drilled into him. This was a standard life for the fellow knights to be. Over the course of this tutoring, Oscoll learned Skodje to better integrate with the locals in the area. At the age of 20, after a failed attempt to prove himself worthy, Oscoll passed the trials, and became a fully fledged swordkin. Adulthood Oscoll spent the next twenty or so years hunting, proving himself in various tests of mettle by challenging other knights when possible. This was a fairly mundane period of his life, except for when he had stumbled across a sect of dragon cultists while upon his hunt. Initially displeased with the fact they had scared his game away, he soon found a companionship amongst them. He departed after a day or so, but delved into various libraries where he could, as to better look into their religion. Oscoll converted to Blue Crown Dragon Worship at the age of 43. Present In 308 AC, before the Clicker Crisis, Oscoll received a letter from his father who he had not seen for over three decades, inviting him to Regalia to join him amongst the nobility. He set sail for Regalia shortly after receiving it, changing his name to Decimus.
