THE LORD CHANCELLOR OF THE REGALIAN EMPIRE

On the matter of the Mercenary Officer:
With the vacation of the Officer Position, the Lord Chancellor will be taking interviews from the period of 1-22 to 1-25. Prospective applicants should be prepared to interview with the following information prepared:
-Experience as a Mercenary, or running, funding, or having some administrative experience with a Mercenary Company
-Policy Goals as Officer
-Planned protocol and events as Officer
-Legislative and Monetary needs as Officer

Once all interviews are completed, the appointed Officer will be announced on the 26th.

On the matter of Travelling to the Allorn Empire:
Effective immediately, the Lord Chancellor institutes a strict ban on all attempts to cross the borders of the Allorn Empire for all citizens of the Empire, for both its safety and theirs. Permission to engage in diplomatic matters (or personal visits) may only be given with both permission from the Foreign Minister, and after thorough review by Jarl Consort Tyrvald Sorenvik, who is temporarily appointed to an advisory position for extensive knowledge of Altalar customs and history. The Lord Chancellor stresses that this ban should be followed to the letter, as if it not followed, any attempting to cross the border will be fully left to the laws of the Allorn Empire.

On the matter of First Contact Officer Rights:
The Lord Chancellor makes the following amendment to the purpose of the First Contact Officer, which saw a loophole wherein the First Contact Officer cannot bar individuals from visiting a continent they are not even aware exists:

Any peoples who are not recorded, known of, or acknowledged by the Regalian Empire are considered "Protected Peoples"

THE RULINGS OF THIS DECREE TAKE THE FULL EFFECT OF STATE LAW.

OOC Notes & Clarifications​

• Mercenary meetings will take place 22nd through 25th, between the hours of 5pm CST to 10pm CST. I'll post in IC announcements when they're happening. Please only message me on discord if it is impossible for you to make these times.
• Short decree, but very important for progressions. Do not try to go into the Allorn Empire w/o advisory! It will, at worst, mean death of one's character if not prepared. They are not messing around.
