- The right to elect a Senate President.
- If the Senate President is unable to attend a Senate meeting, the Senate may vote to elect a temporary Senate President so that the meeting may continue.
- The right to organize research expeditions.
- The right to approve expenses exceeding 10,000 regals.
- The right to censor discoveries.
- The right to restrict discoveries to certain students or members of the government.
- The right to approve publications germane to the Kolloquium written by students or professors.
- The right to put students and professors under probation by a majority vote.
- The Senate President may then decide to eject the student or professor.
- To be placed on probation four times shall result in an automatic ejection.
- The person ejected may then appeal their ejection to the Senate President.
- The Scholastic Senate may overrule the decision of the Senate President with a two-thirds majority to either revoke or uphold the ejection.
- Professors may be placed under instant probation by the Senate President after two warnings during the same Senate meeting.
- Failure to attend two Senate meetings without a valid excuse shall be grounds for ejection.
Duties of Professors
You do not need to be a scholar to be a professor.
- Professors must not metagame knowledge.
- Professors must be active players, or they will be replaced.
- Professors must find at least 5 students to teach every week. It does not matter if the student is already receiving classes from other professors.
- Professors must hold weekly "classes". These classes can be structured however the professor wants, meaning that the professor might prepare speeches or simply have a conversation with their students on the topic.
- Professors must attend the bimonthly Senate meetings.
Privileges of Students
- The right to assist their Professor in their personal projects related to research and academia.
- The right to vote on behalf of their Professor at Senate meetings when their Professor is absent.
- The right to access censored discoveries from the Kolloquium.
- The right to attend Kolloquium-only events.
- Priority admission in Kolloquium expeditions.
