Okay, so here's the basics, who pick and explain a conspiracy theory, then you say what you belief about it is, and people who disagree make their argument.

Of course, following forum rules is required, and don't insult people for believing a Conspiracy, that is not an argument.

I'll start, the Montauk Project, the way it goes is that people were kidnapped, usually adolescents, into a secret base, where they would *ahem* arouse them with microwaves of sorts, them being psychics, it apparently caused them to be more aware and enabled time travel, and was meant to manipulate the future, this was sometime in the mid 80s. Now, do I believe it? Sort of. Why? Because there are people who say they were involved with specific recollections, but it was the only evidence I could find on the matter.

There are many videos about it on Youtube, if you want some elaboration. Just search "Montauk Project" and you'll get a lot of results.

Why exactly does human recollection point to the legitimacy of a specific event?

I vaguely recall being abducted by aliens once. Their spaceship was shaped like a spherical cube, and I remember it being pink and smelling vaguely of onions. The aliens had the head of an elephant, but instead of a trunk they had a fly's proboscis. They had the body of a narwhal, with the tail of a bird of some sort.

Well, I never said that it made me fully believe it, I'm still skeptical of the theory, did I not say "sort of"?

After saying you sort of believed it, you said "Because there are people involved with specific recollections. " I assumed you used that as a noncommittal justification for why you sort of believe it. If I am wrong in assuming that, why do you sort of believe it?
