Taking on the wish of her father’s dream to create a strong and everlasting militaristic family that was built strongly on loyalty and the faith that the Dwarven race will once more be the great empire it once was. A new Hornspine family was created in the ashes of the former patriarch, one that would be led by King Beola, a fierce commander and general with years of experience on the field. The current family members alive that survived the numerous attacks by Dakkar and Isldar are bound by extreme loyalty for each other, even accepting those adopted from outside of the family. Together the Hornspine clan remain strong, determined and hopeful that soon even the great Empire of Regalia can recognize their worth so that their power can grow ever stronger, in order to fulfill Gerold’s dream to restore glory to the Dwarven empire. Below are the separation characteristics between men and women born into the family, they include their appearance and personality traits. However, it should be NOTED that this will in no way be enforced should you wish to create a character of your own design upon my permission to do so. This is just a basic introduction into what you will expect when joining the family as they are predominantly very militaristic. It would be no surprise that a dwarf within the family who has a profession that strays from the families keen interests will be seen as lesser than or unequal to the rest of the family. Women are traditionally blonde with blue eyes. However, they can have ginger, brunette and sometimes even red in the rare cases, their eyes will always remain blue however. Women born into the Hornspine clan take on the same militaristic views as the men and will often compete against each other to see which sex is stronger. Women who chose to stray from the military side into areas such as arts, knowledge, and magic will be seen as an outsider to the family as the majority of them have by the age of thirty a battalion of a thousand men. This doesn’t mean you aren’t permitted to make a character that differs from the family norm but you should be ready to accept some critique by the other family members. Similar to women, male Hornspines are born with either blonde, brunette, ginger or red hair with either blue or green eyes, in some rare cases some male dwarves are born with two separate eye colors on either eye such as blue-green or green-blue. Male Hornspines are also generally born into militaristic positions in the family. However, this is not enforced should you wish to create a character that differs from the family norm. The same general ‘shame’ roleplay will apply to them as well.
